I LOVE this car! Awesome awesome modified 308, would be so much fun to build something like that. It's got to be a blast to drive. Now if only it were a GTB.
I don't have more pictures yet, but I can give some details. It's an '83 Euro (originally a German car) with about 26,000 miles. I just purchased it from a fellow fchat member, Euro Quattro. It has QA1 shocks, Eibach springs, and the Compomotive wheels you can see in the pic. This weekend I also changed to the Birdman fuse blocks and LED headlights (for safety but I'll keep the originals). I raised the car about 1.5 inches yesterday just so I could drive over speed bumps, so that picture might be the last one with the car so low! To be honest I haven't decided if I'm keeping the Compomotives or not. I have a set of 16's in the garage waiting for tires, and I'm going to swap for a while to see what I think. I like the way the TS-17's look, but I'm a sucker for originality. We'll see.
Guess I'm lost. Who owns #54979? And why would you glue a bunch of body mods. On an other wise beautiful Euro QV? Sorry, not a fan.....at all.
The owner is a friend of mine. He likes things that are modified. He also own a Porsche 911 cabrio that is also fully modified. I'm a guy that likes stock cars. I was disapointed when he told me he was getting it fully modified but it's HIS car. I have to say I was impressed with the final result. Much better than I thought. He also own a Lamborghini Jalpa but I told him to leave this one stock. I think he will.
Nice Euro QV on ebay (no affiliation). Didn't have this one in the Registry. Looks like it got the US front bumper somewhere along the way. I posted in the general 308 section... anybody wanting to sell their euro 308 QV...or know of one. I have been looking at the one for sale by Brandon Motorcars in Houston...does anyone have any thoughts on this car?.. Thanks
Certainly looks like a nice example. I echo the comments from your mentioned thread. Does anyone know what happened with Chairpilot's Euro QV (44831)? Sadly, he passed away earlier this year. I think miketuason was a friend and familiar with the car.
Mike helped me find my car, and Chairpilot's was one of the cars that we tried to buy. In the end the family decided to keep the car.
I believe it is the second picture in this post, taken at the 308 meet in Santa Monica, CA last month June... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143202149-post40.html
Any of our Canadian friends claim or know this car? Sounds great! I have a Stebro exhaust on mine too and am happy with the music it makes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XrkSS0KsOU

That is odd. Maybe one was damaged and they couldn't find replacements. Those things are near impossible to find. Or, maybe a previous owner liked the flag mirrors better. It definitely would've had the Euro mirrors from factory.
Good buy on another Euro QV: http://www.ebay.com/itm/201138320032 Not in the registry either (added).
