    Back to the question.
If you've only been following F1 for a relatively short time it's not a stretch to say Alonso is the best driver you've ever seen.

But than again, you haven't seen much....:) It's a bit like if the only women you had ever seen were Angela Merkl and Julia Roberts.....surely Julia was the best...but for those who have seen Adriana Lima for example...you see the picture...

Agreed. Which is why I find your Berger and Alesi reference so weird. I liked both but they don't strike me as legendary drivers. To me they are Renee Zellwegers :)

My, those threads are taking strange directions indeed...Gerhard and Jean compared to renée Zellwegers; if the thread continues on that path, we mus beware of Max Mosley's return...

Nevermind; hope Pedro has had a thought for Fernando's anniversary yesterday?

    You read me well. :)

Yeah, it is in the entertainment room in the den. The official living room where we receive guests is off limits for shananigans like this.

    Yes and yes:

The Space Shuttle which was one of the first with real electronics and voice synthesizer. Looks and feels old school but uses some modern stuff inside.

It is the VW of pin balls: one of the most produced with parts avail, yet like an old Ferrari: you need a good mechanic and they are hard to find

NAAA, i would rate Alesi at least as good as his wife Kumiko Goto.....and i find her very pretty...or Mystique from x-man (easyer than to write her real name)

Ps....i must say that Renée was quite interesting (let's say about Jerry Mcguire time) before she ate an elephant....

    LOL

I always wondered why she suddenly disappeared from the screen.

Re: Alesi, you might be able to help me?
I'd love to get one of his wine bottles. I found them online but they only sell them in cases, which becomes insanely expensive shipped to the States. Any chance you hit his store in Bordeaux some day?

Being a mossback I prefer the old mechanical kind. The ones with carburators.

Probably, it's been a couple of years since i was in France but my daughter keeps begging to go to eurodisney....maybe i go for a spin one of this days....On the other hand, Spain is just one hour away from my house, i'm pretty sure i can find some kind of beverage with Alonso's face stamped on it:)..althoug you probably shouldn't taste it...

Thanks but not quite the same: Alesi is a wine producer now. Just like Andretti and Trulli, from both of which I have bottles

I did a little search and like you only found it in cases of 6 or 12, the cheaper goes for about 150€...although they have the price per bottle wich is strange...but i don't know how much it would beshipping to Us, i suppose not cheap.

Well, no matter, the last race in Hungary was fun to watch. Too bad about the "team" screwing up qualifying for Kimi. At least he was in the points, this time. Alonso asks, Kimi delivers. Hope it's even better- result-wise- next time in late August. Nice to see Ferrari back in 3rd spot in the team points, anyway... if only just. I bet Red Bull's pretty darn happy! And Maranello...please, please give the boys another 50 HP from somewhere so we can all see some serious butt-kicking by a couple of red cars!

    Cheers,
    Rich

Sorry if out of topic, but what's your favourite music software, if you have one?

Nice one! Although all that gear brings me back nightmares. It's all software for me now and if you have a chance try playing around with max/msp if you haven't already. Does Tifosi12 make music too? Nice!

Sorry for the hijack btw but this thread is irrelevant to me. One who goes racing in Wrc after being f1 champion, while he could stay home getting millions doing nothing and then comes back, cannot suck!
