I was taking a nice ride today in my 360 minding my own business and enjoying life back in the states after being gone for some time. From the other direction a guy in his car coming towards me and sticks out his arm and throws his middle finger up to me. Why? Not a clue. Anyone else have a similar action towards them by others?
I usually get the thumbs up but have yet to get the middle finger up. Consider the source as a jealous loser and don't let it bother you. There's good and bad everywhere.
Sounds like the guy on the other side had some haterade in his blood.. Just shake your head and keep cruising.
I was traveling through a small town going 7 miles over the speed limit (Barney Fife patrolman is always around) and this car goes around me and "yes" gives me the finger. My first thought was "I can run him down and kick his a$$". But then I started thinking, "man what a terrible way to go through life" and just started laughing.
After almost 30 years of driving these things, I have seen any number of obscene gestures. Fortunately, there has always been more smiles and thumbs ups.
I have seen this guy before in Sydney. He must have a huge car collection as I see him in different cars on the roads everyday.
Happened to me while driving my old roadster Viper a few years ago. It really struck me as a terrible experience and left me wondering what kind of person would or could be such an arsehole? I do believe it is out of jealousy and it makes me wonder how someone could act in such an outwardly UGLY way. Also, it makes me wonder how someone could possibly allow themselves to be SEEN in such an ugly way. Can you just imagine what goes on in such a person's thought processes...? Scary! A real troglodyte for certain...
I only get the thumbs up. Kind of interesting as I would expect in the Detroit area I would get the reaction you got.
These are the types that buy their cars on Craigslist. They usually headline daily talk shows as well. I wouldn't take it to heart. They will cower back to their Pabst Blue Ribbon and sulk away in their single wide wondering where they went wrong…Lifes full of choices and some just compound on all the wrong ones
