Hi guys, I've very excited, I just purchased an FF! I've had four other Ferrari's, but none for the past two years. I purchased the "demo" from Ferrari of Palm Beach (really nice guys down there, especially Lionel!!!). I promptly left Thursday at 6pm from Palm Beach heading north to our place in NYC trying to make it on time to a FCA Summer Sizzle Rally with the Penn Jersey Region by Saturday morning. What a drive! 1,300 miles, lots of motorists waving, lots of photos at gas stations (I like to let folks - or their children sit in the car for their photo) and many smiles by me. I made it back to NYC Friday night and Saturday my wife and I made the FCA event - another fun drive! I'm very proud of our new car, it is finished in Tripple-layer Biano Italis with carbon fiber everything (I think): Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations... It is a beautiful car, and I'm the same way. I always allow people to take pictures. Offer them if they want to sit inside, and they are very thrilled. Although, I've noticed, more people (at least here in Scottsdale) want to take pictures with my Audi R8 vs the Ferrari .... I guess more people have Ferraris here.
Thank you. I think letting people take pictures is good for the exotic car community, it makes may happy people too - good job!
Congratulations, beautiful FF! I love letting people sit in it, check their belts and pockets first so they don't tear up your leather! Great drive too! The FF is amazing, and the Ferrari Experience is really great with the FF. When accelerating be sure to let your rpm go well above 3,000 as that is where the exhaust opens up and stays open, sharing your beautiful V12 sounds with the neighborhood . I baby mine until oil temp gets stable, then have fun! If you have any questions about it that is what this forum is for. There is plenty to learn about these modern Ferraris. Almost forgot, next time you are on the expressway and you approach a Prius, downshift a few gears so your RPM is about 4K or 5K, nail the throttle as you get close to them, shift alongside of them, thanking them for saving the gas that you are blowing out your tailpipe. Rick
Congratulations. Thats a very handsome color combination. The triple layer white is a really spectacular color.
Gorgeous. I wanted that triple bianco, but couldn't find one and I couldn't wait. Great spec'd car Congrats and enjoy in good health!
I love the bluish hue of Bianco Italia. Have only seen Bianco Fujii in the flesh on a Maser, I'm sure Italia looks just as good. My friend had a LP560-4 that had a metallic white paint with a bluish hue, "balloon white" IIRC. Looked fantastic on black rims.
Thanks everyone! Ok, my favorite thing about the FF must be the sound. So far, blasting through the Lincoln Tunnel going into (or leaving) NYC is a real rush. Shift the car down and hit the gas - WOW! Even shifting into neutral then revving the car makes an amazing sound!
