You bet I'm still smiling! Tim's LM is a masterpiece! Tim, you must be so proud and I'm sure you're looking forward to 13th September. I hope the weather is nice on the day.
And having a trip in Kevin's Dino was exhilarating! No video footage of travelling in a Ferrari can give any real indication to what it's really like - the throaty sound of it's engine right behind your seat, and the sheer power and acceleration. Phenominal!

It sure is. I was wondering what it is doing there as well though I assume rear bumper cosmetic fix.

I forgot to say a big Thank You to Tim for his last post and attaching the photo of me beside his car and for allowing me to see his LM.
Also thank you to Kevin and all the guys at MT for their kind hospitality.

Thanks Lindsay and great you had such a good time.I am sure there is more to come.....

Yes, I am really proud of how she is turning out and whilst not a Michelotto car, more than I originally could have ever dreamt of, albeit that the project has now taken on a life of its own, certainly financially. Some very exciting times are on the horizon but cannot speak as yet.

We have our coming out party in about 4 weeks time and one major issue is fender shields. We thought we had tracked some down but turns out on a single. Ferrari have a left hand only in stock at the factory so anyone out there have or know of a r/h or a set?

    Thanks

Never knew there were L/R badges. Horsey is supposed to always face forward I assume?

Love following along with this thread, what a labor of love (and money...)!

Very true. It annoys me a bit to see someone having a ride in an exotic and the first thing they do is whip out their cell phone to take shaky, badly framed video of the experience. Instead of keeping their hands in their lap and just taking it all in in the present.
It's not something you'll likely forget; I can still vividly remember various rides in great cars even 15 years later. The sounds, the sensations, and sometimes the FEAR :)
That said, where is the video :D
Never heard of a Dino with e 328 motor, anyone have links to a thread on this?
    cheers!

Not surprised as I think this is a first. beautiful car done in true MT fashion with that engine and I think 328 brakes.

Bit of a quiet phase as Kevin is busy driving his GTS through Austria.

Spot the deliberate mistake. I think the lads are doing it on purpose now.....

I've noticed them switching direction throughout the posts so I'd assume they are just tossed on when rolling it around without much concern of their direction.

For some reason the standard wheel nuts don't fit the Michelotto rims, the flange of the hub being different so the car is off to have this sorted as well as some further setting up work on the Motec with a company who have extensive experience campaigning an LM.

How was she run on the rolling road if the wheel nuts don't fit?

They fit but the flange of the nut does not sit perfectly in the dish of the wheel so OK on the rolling road, not good under lateral load.

    See post above 2742.

Back very soon I hope, but no mapping on the power side for now, more on the adjustable setting side.
