This is a follow-up to the thread I started a while back: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/439961-360-switchcars.html I didn't end up with Switchcar 360 ('04, red cpe manual). It sold right before the sale of my 328 was finalized. I got my 03 coupe F1 from Maserati of Sacramento. It was a great experience. I am very thankful to my sales consultant, JASON GARBE, who provided excellent customer service and patiently assisted me all the way. He is highly recommended. Ask for him when you find your dream car at their dealership. PPI was done by Salerno motors. (Thanks, Chuck!) The car was delivered last weekend. In a nutshell, the car exceeded my expectations. It is practically almost brand new in and out. 17500 miles. Has new clutch, flywheel, and brakes/rotors. The aroma of the leather preserved. Aircon blows cold air. Clearfilm on the right places. Scuderia shields. Challenge grill. Tubi, etc. I have always been a manual guy, but after driving this car, I think I'll have fun with the flappy paddles. It is hard to find a late model with manual tranny. Life is too short for me to wait any longer. Thank you FChat and fellow members. I gained my knowledge on the 360 solely on this site. It wouldn't have been possible without you. The pictures don't do justice to the car. I went from a 308 to a 360 and there really is no looking back. Beautiful car!!!! Drive it as much as possible, it can handle it.
I owned my 328 for 11.5 years and loved it. But I'll have to agree, my feeling is I ain't looking back!!!
Congrats, i just bought pretty much the same exact car about a month ago and have put 700 miles on it already, its been a joy. Beautiful car - congrats again
Congratulations, great looking car. You should read up on the passenger airbag leather fix, it didn't seem bad to do..
Congrats - glad your happy. I've owned a 328 and 512 BBi - both manuals. I now own a 612 F1 - always wanted a front-engined V12. Have to admit, I felt a little guilty about getting the F1 transmission, but it is a new experience and I've learned to enjoy it. Your car is beautiful - wishing you many years of enjoyment.
They never look as good in pics as they do in real life. I almost didn't go look at my car because it looked faded in the pics. The car looks great enjoy.
Car looks great. My airbag was far worse than that and now looks like new. Not to hard, just a little time...
Way to go Ron! I was hoping we could have gotten you into a gated manual but you have had a big-ole-gulp of 360 koolaide so there is no turning back now! Here is to many miles and smiles ahead!!!!
Thank you guys. The airbag leather is not too bad but I'll address later. I am still in the honeymoon phase to worry about it. Too late, I am already attached to it! Will post more pics later. Work is interfering with the hobby . (I've only driven 50 miles since delivery).
