As is more often the case than not in this section, bickering gets in the way of actual discussion. In this case we all lose a big asset to the forum, a LaF owner who in just a handful of posts provided extremely valuable input on LaF.

If people could act like adults... Yes, this is a public forum - but really some users are entitled to more respect than others. A LaF owner bothering to spend his time giving strangers detailed information and feedback on a car should not be met with insults.

Regarding the 6-point belts. An alternative I have seen is to order the car with the standard seatbelts, then get an aftermarket rollbar and install 6-point OMP belts. A 458 I did some passenger laps in had this. The only downside is that you have to buckle the regular belts on over the 6-point so that the seatbelt alarm stays quiet.

I insist, he was not insulted. I wrote "here, not everybody is lucky enough to be a Petrol King or a daddy's boy who can buy such cars, so it's not elegant to say what you have said."
This is not an insult but a reaction based on an opinion and a feeling about an unfair -in my opinion- sentence.
But if you think he was insulted, you have to think the same for me and all the fans he spoke about. But it's true : we are not LaF owners, so feel free to "insult" us.

Going from thefance's comments, Ferrari apperantly specced the LaFerrari out as to leave something to be desired for the LaF-XX.

    Precisely.

Anyway, once you've driven a proper race car, all road cars feel somewhat compromised.

As would race cars on a public road...
Still though, the LaFerrari might be quicker than many proper race cars.

Hello, and thank you for your testimony!
I've some questions: do you show this arguments to Ferrari, about lack of grip, belt and setup? answers?
Do you what to change tires from Pzero Corsa to Michelin PSC2 , if possible? do you want to to change setup, to a stiffer one?
...any chance to know the real performances? no vBox?
    thanks in advance :)
