My brothers - I would love to get a quick opinion.

How much is a 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena worth?

    -6-Speed,
    -Giallo Yellow,
    -Black Interior,
    -All Service Records,
    -Around 23K miles,
    -Clutch done 3k miles ago,
    -BUT needs a major service.

You set the bar pretty low there on the price ranges....if it is a gated manual 6 speed. I will check for you tomorrow but if you could get it for 70 and it only needed a 4-5K service that could be a nice deal. New clutch is nice! If it is beat up otherwise and 9 owners, needs tires, needs leather work, needs alternator cable, etc then it could be a bit lower IMO.

    Guess what I found:

    This is the car -

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/360-430/120101-1999-360-$89-995-clean-title.html

Seems like there is something fishy about the odometer. I don't like that. If I was to decide to sell it at some point, I would have the hardest time....

Is it a Euro car or US car per the post above? The major service is not a big deal on 360's...it's all fluids, timing belt, seals and is about $5K-$6K, about the same cost as a clutch job. Assuming no paint work history also? There are so many variables with these cars you really need to factor in all these.

This car has a history....it's a Euro car and there seems to have been play with the odometer, thus the cheap price.

before reading that the car has history, you set the price bar way too low. Now that we know it has history that lowers the price some.

why did you set the poll prices so low to begin with ?

Knowing that now, I would have chosen a different answer to the poll.

Even with a messed odometer, it should still get in the high 50's. Could a tech find out through Leonardo the actual miles? Is it stored in the ECU?
I've seen many salvaged ones for sale in the upper 40's low 50's.

Many of the Euro's seem to have mileage issues since they convert from km's to miles.

The real question is, what other alternatives are there on the market? It doesn't look like the seller has much incentive to go below $60k.

The only cars below 60 are crashed salvage cars.

I saw a 2001 360 spider F1 with 9K miles get auctioned at Mecum for 103K. If you add the vig that the buyer and seller has to pay Mecum Auctions its a hefty price.

Wow...at that price you're getting real close to 430 territory.
