Well it looks like car is still available. Buyer ordered professional inspection, which was near-perfect. He then promised check was on the way. 10 days later, no check, not answering calls. First $36,500 takes it. My new S is due in 2-3 weeks, so I'll trade it in if not sold by then.
Wifey drives a 05 CLK500, as been a great car. This is a great deal for a beautiful car, barely used, and barely broken in. I would buy this in a heartbeat if we did not have a similar car.
Sorry, but I needed a specific option package. You don't have it. Of course, the V pkg is more expensive to maintain in the long run, but the P setup doesn't fit my needs. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I understand from talking to my mechanics that it would be expensive and difficult to convert to the right equipment. That's why I put down a deposit and waited for the right options.
Car is still available. I spoke with the inspector who told me there was nothing in his inspection that would've scared away a buyer. "Man, that car was cherry" was the exact quote.
I'm down to my rock-bottom price, based on dealer trade-in offer. I'll let it go for $36,000. It will be available for 7-10 more days, then traded in if not sold.

No. This car is perfect. Never anything other than wax. I don't know what you've circled in that photo, but there is nothing missing. No damage. No stories. Inspector found one very light scratch just in front of trunk on top deck cover, which he reported will easily buff out. Otherwise he couldn't believe how pristine the black finish is. I can try to photograph any specific are you want to see.
