Except I will never own a "Rich Man's Corvette", but may settle for the Aventador...But for the rest the Lambo line, the quote applies!
And is absolutely necessary to the plant world. And (dirty little secret) has only a very small effect on the climate, and what there is is probably for the better.
Of course they don't. Just like not even 1% of Ferrari owners would modify their cars either. That doesn't mean there isn't demand for things that aren't officially offered. There aren't a million posts on the Lambo and R8 forums talking about the soul and exhaust sounds of the car. I don't even remember the last thread I saw where people were worried about a switch to turbos. In fact, I'd say there are far more people wanting a turbo option than not. Nice thing about Lamborghini and Audi though is that they can easily offer both if they want. They have plenty of engines to choose from. I'm almost positive that you'll see an R8 with the option of the 5.2 V10 or the 4.0 V8 TT. The 4.0 TT in the RS6 already puts out 560hp/516tq. I'm sure it can be tuned for more if needed. Ferrari forums are the only place where it's such a big deal. Fans of other brands embrace just about anything. Pretty much every other brand has turbo offers that are well received. Not to worry though, soon enough everyone on here will be talking about how amazing the new V8 turbo is from Ferrari. A handful of holdouts will lament the changes and swear they'll never sell their 458s. This happens all the time -- 6 speed manual cars vs F1, NA vs TT, F1 vs DCT. Eventually no one cares anymore.

Eventually no one cares anymore.[/QUOTE] Many customers have gotten the new Cali T, and so far we hear many complains about the sound. If speed is all you want, there are many available, some more cheaper. Let me introduce to you : $85,000 Ultima GTR. It will smoke LaFerrari or P1 or 918 Spyder in any race track, you name it. You want straight race speed? Get a Nissan GTR and bring to Switzer. With a $80,000 package, it will run faster than Bugatti Veyron in a straight race. And the fun part is, it never ends. Next year this brand will add some more boost, and run faster. Even VW Golf is catching up now. LOL. What we want is something that can last, something that makes different, Italian word is Passion, our word is THE LOOK AND THE SOUND. 2 seconds faster in a race track, who cares...
That can't be right. Lambo has done its market research and concluded that N/A is important to their clientele.
It seems I'm an atypical Ferrari/FCA customer: I define a mid engine Ferrari about its performance capabilities and its driving behavior. Regarding look and sound I enjoy my Maserati Granturismo Sport.
Now, we can't really be sure about that, can we? The similarly specced Radical track car was outshown by the P1 in Autocar's handling course. At any rate, there is also the Caparo T1 to consider.
Well, judging by the posts on here you'd think Ferrari would have reached that same conclusion even quicker. Then again, California is already turbo and the rumors seem pretty solid that the next 458 is a turbo too. If NA wasn't important enough for Ferrari, it definitely wasn't important enough for Lamborghini.
Caparo t1 was very fast when it worked.....but sadly the company never lasted more than a handful of cars production.
Ferrari was somewhat forced to go turbocharged with the V8 models. Its production is larger than that of Lamborghini. Ferrari have also said that were it not for the environmental norms, it would have never gone turbocharged. Fortunately though, they won' t mess with their trademark N/A V12, thanks to its limited production!!!
Anybody thinks that performance is more important than sound, just look at the 360CS to 430 Scuderia. The Scud will smoke the 360 CS in any condition, looks better (IMO), and has more technologies. But currently 360CS is one of the most wanted Ferrari out there, even it was not a very limited production. It's more because the 360 CS' sound. But keep in mind that Scud is also NA and also sounds great. Now 458 is also being famous of it's screaming sound, not as loud as 360CS, but being one of the highest tone out there. Now imagine the successor sounds like........a loud 911 turbo. I think my next Ferrari will be either V12 or previous models like 599GTO. I will also consider Aventador if they go dual clutch. And I will definitely keep my 458. I personally think turbo is for SUV or limo, not super car. I think Ferrari shouldn't go turbo or Apple music in their car. What's next, massage seat?
you are right, big problem is that evolution not always going in good direction, in the recent years many people has believe that engineers building future cars will be focused on weight reduction but unfortunately they decide to rising engine power by adding turbine
If Aventador uses dual clutch, is it better or F12. IMO, Aventador looks better and mid engine. But the 4WD kills everything. And the interior is a bit like SUV's.
Aventador drives like a pig. Imv double clutch is massively needed, but will never make it a tool as sharp as the f12. Italia is much more fun to drive than both however imv.
Aventador is best selling ever Lamborghini with V12, no matter all of disadvantages this car is big success of Lamborghini and another prove that customers want naturally aspirated V12 engines, 12 cylinder engine is iconic for Lambo, how can they resign from this?
