Hi all! I have 2 issues I need help with! 1) The white paint "Ferrari" logo on the air box cover has faded over time. Any ideas where to get the white color restored? 2) There is a tiny hole in the vinyl zipper panel in the trunk area. Again, any ideas for repair? Thanks in advance for your assistance! Les
You will be fine. The airbox can be redone easily and the trunk cover can be replaced in 10 minutes. I am in a big hurry or I would search and post links for you. Someone else will soon. No worries

The ebay stencil WILL work. HOWEVER... It can be very fiddly and a PITA to deal with. I tried it on my air box 3 times after ordering the stencil and, each time was totally unhappy with the results. I cleaned it off and gave up. A year or two later I ran across the stencil by accident and figured, "what the heck, I'll try it again." At probably the 6th attempt, I got it where it looks original enough that no-one can tell the difference. I had one guy, in looking at the engine compartment, who said, "wow, you've even managed to keep the original air box lettering." That made me me happy. So...if you decide to do the stencil, approach it with plenty of patience. You can't hurt anything...unless you get annoyed enough to throw the lid against the wall...so just have at it. As noted, a search will reveal a lot of posts with suggestion on how to actually do the job.
Mark...I know this is an OLD thread, but can you give me a brief explanation on how to use the hairspray? Do you just spray the back of the stencil and lay it down?
