How long did you know the big 'g' before he past away? Gerald turned clean over years, and because he did he was no real long time in the biz type crook. When someone go to jail for something that they are busted for and return into the real world, they become x-crooks right? Well again, nobody gave a poo about making paper-fraud and stamping vins on chassis back in the 80s. Try to get me banned from this thread, the LA-FBI have copied all my posts on this major fraud matter. And if I do happen to go to CNN or the LA-Times to do a huge story on the case (I do not need the money remember), well let's just say, I will tell the media all about how nice the FerrariChat.com (Rob) was to 'us' for letting myself/me come out with the real truth in the matter.
X-spurt, that is the category reserved for the likes of dogday... ...if they had that much intimate knowledge, why didn't they pitch in and set things right from the beginning
Cheesey, all BS aside: I tried and tried to get the D.O.J. to step in over the years. But, as all of you know well, there is no U.S. based funding that has happen from the GOV...ever in matters like the one at hand. The LA-FBI wants to bust -all- the major auction houses in the world, they really do, but, the only way to get the monies needed for a major U.S. bust must come from the D.O.J. And it will never happen, now, or, in the future. So, I am sad to report, that crooks will continue to love crooks, bottom line, and it will never change at all in the future. But you guys now have myself/me. People like Bill Gates (etc.) would never put up the monies to give to the FBI to address a major matter like this. But, the good news is that I will in the future. And the next Q is...'and you are??'...well then let me just put a gun at my head...right. My is name monkey, *******, p-ssy, punk, and so on, use what you wish. I don't really have a name, only Fed/Gov numbers. OJ, where you at son!
Hey Rob, stop with all the bs, it is not needed, okay. And ask me what I know...and to put up or to shut up. How long have you been in the biz Rob? You seen like a good guy, but you do own your website. I know you like to keep your members happy at all times no matter what. Can I ask you something...sir (I have to kiss some tail now...he will ban us again..Oh dear!)? If you want to sell your website (and all the members base you have) how much would you want...I am a player! Where you at OJ?
Yea my issues are already stated Rob. Are you willing to help us out here? Or, we will just go away (for now anyway). Thanks.
from moderation standpoint we need to be hands off in this thread, no way we're stepping in it. you are welcome to step in it.
Thanks Rob. OJ I am trying to help you not bust you. I know you are a lawyer, and a good one. So lets try and help each other by discussing what you know or believe to be true with the 375 Plus that is claiming to be the real chassis remains from the 80s. And I will tell you the 100% true facts in the case that I know. Then I would like to discuss all the photoshop pictures fraud that the courts have copies of. If you would. The case is over, for now anyway. Tell me why you need monies so bad? Hell maybe I can help you out someway?
I am preparing the Redenbacher now - So, if you are sticking around on F-Chat please, do tell more! "100% true facts" I do have some questions, if you do the answers. Game on? 1.) Was the plot to steal the Ferrari from Karl Kleves lot orchestrated by Guy Anderson? 2.) Did Guy plot more than one Ferrari heist between 1986 and 1989? 3.) Did Trout work for Anderson at any time? 4.) Was the Ralph Lauren car #0392TF ever a target to steal by Andersons network? 5.) Who is AKA: Giles Christian? 6.) What was Giles role in the delivery of the cash to Guy Anderson? 7.) Would you describe Giles Christian in period circa during 1989 when you met him? 8.) Were any of Guy Anderson's children looking a bit like you? Pardon me, I had to ask that. 9.) You mentioned 'major drug dealers' became car collectors in the 80's and 90's, and some are billionaires. I remember the 80's and 90's and you're quite right. We're any of you guys ever involved in dealing drugs? How about under the influence? 10.) I'm curious to know who masterminded and paid for the car to be shipped from Atlanta, to Saudi Arabia, to Italy and France as written in one of the newspaper articles and who was in controll of it all? 11.) Who was the Ferrari dealer in California? Dogman~ I really need a good reason to pop more popcorn. You claim to know the real story. Im interested in the truth. So, the more questions you answer, the more I will ask. Fair deal? Short answers are perfectly fine with me!
It would be very surprising if the richest/savviest business man in Ohio, with a record of buying many vintage Ferrari at auctions in the recent past, didn't perform - before bidding - a serious check on the past of 0384AM and in particular the real status of the Ohioan title. That is either himself or more probably his agent, Copley Motorcars.
I can contact his widow, and let her speak for him, here. We also have a member here, who's wife can back check your "FBI credentials" in about..oh...15 minutes. But, why do we care?? You got anything else to add, Mr. Clean??
Don't ban him, this type of mindset is REALLY rare, in it's medical presentation. He's going to need some therapy, to ever get better!! or.....not.
I agree he knew "what he was buying".a modern recreation of a storied car, on it's original chassis and a Classiche Stamp on top, for icing...but you notice, the car is not out driving around. He has asked for his money to be refunded, by Bonhams, at this point??
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vintage-thru-365-gtc4-sponsored-vintage-driving-machines/426889-1957-410-ferrari-scaglietti-boano-superamerica-s-n-0671-sa.html BTW the new owner has purchased Ferrari with an history a bit like 0384AM in the past. Quelq_un, who unfortunately writes in French, makes some allegations about 0671 that are more or less along the same lines than dogday here. Quelq_un also contributed to this thread a couple of years ago, and also had some off site exchanges with OJ. To his credits, quelq_un makes no mystery of who he is in real life.
I think someone came in from left field with a title claim, and got a $2M payoff? That's an interesting side bar to the story...
I have been reading this very interesting stuff, gleaned through it, and, now, I am preparing the Redenbacher - So, if you are sticking around on F-Chat please, do tell more! I'm entranced... I do have some questions, if you do the answers. Game on? 1.) Was the initial plot to steal the Ferrari from Karl Kleves lot first orchestrated by Guy Anderson? 2.) Did Guy Anderson plot more than one Ferrari heist between 1986 and 1989? 3.) Did Trout work for Guy Anderson at any time? 4.) Was the Ralph Lauren car, chassis #0392TF, ever a target to steal by Andersons network? 5.) Who is AKA: Giles Christian? Hummm??? 6.) What was Giles role in the delivery of the cash to Guy Anderson? 7.) Would you describe Giles Christian in period -circa during 1989 when you met him? 8.) Were any of Guy Anderson's children looking a bit like you? Pardon me, I had to ask that. 9.) You mentioned major drug dealers became car collectors in the 80's and 90's, and some are billionaires. I remember the 80's and 90's and you're quite right, I knew a few of them. Were any of you guys ever involved in dealing drugs? Under the influence??? At least... 10.) I'm curious to know who masterminded and paid for the car to bounce from Atlanta, to Saudi Arabia, to Italy and to France, as written in one of the newspaper articles and who was in controll of it? 11.) Who was the Ferrari dealer in California??? Dogman~ I really need a good reason to pop more popcorn. You claim to know the real story. Im interested in the truth. So, the more questions you answer, the more I will ask. Fair enough? I appreciate that! Short answers are fine with me! Saludé
On the topic of spelling, I checked Mr. Gardner's old post #767. By way of an update, that Aug. 19, 2013 Enforcement Order was overturned on appeal and the case is NOT over, plus I was not Mr. Gardner's attorney -- we had a pretty straight-forward Ferrari 375 Financing Agreement signed on Jan. 31, 2011 which he materially breached and I gave him official notice. In deposition, Gardner claimed he ran out of money and then he claimed he never breached, never. On the topic of Mr. Gardner's visit to Maranello and his lack of any interest in a 1954 Ferrari 375 Plus #0384AM, I checked metalfinder's post #170. On the topic of Mr. Gardner's credibility, I checked Mr. Gardner's linked in profile in which he claimed he attended Loyola University from 1974 - 1979 for "engineering" and "international business." When deposed about Mr. Gardner's claimed education, he said "yeah, I did. That's an error." Mr. Gardner, who then admitted to having NO college degrees of any kind, also claimed to do work for both NASA and the US nuclear submarine program. This is on top of Mr. Gardner's claims to be a archeologist, metallurgist, and viticulturist -- wow, his bio reads like a DosEquis commercial. Anyway, IMHO Mr. Gardner is, if anything, consistent in the way he spells "finial", although when it comes to Ferrari Chat it appears he misspells his user name at least SIX different ways, two are below. Care to guess the misspellings? (Hint: unusual open quotes mark; also creditability; also pear shaped; also dinky toys) Joe * Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Joe, a copy of your Jan 31, 2011 agreement with Gardner is posted on the Swaters website and it includes a principal obligation for Gardener to pay you $75,000 that was due to Lawson. There is also a copy of a change to that agreement made April 5, 2011 which confirmed that Gardner had performed all of his obligations at that date. Two questions: Did Gardner pay the $75,000 and how did you get into this deal in the first place ? I recall you saying in an earlier post that Lawson was being helped by another "car guru" before you came on the scene, was that guru Gardner and did he introduce you ? I appreciate your posts and exposes on this fascinating case but it now appears to be more about arguments about shares than the car. Having seen the Quail auction results I do wonder if you are better off letting the Bonhams sale complete and putting the proceeds in escrow. K
The 1954 Ferrari 375 Plus #0384 could not be listed stolen in 1986 or in 1989 Please refer to page #85 dated, 8/12/2014, located at post #1693. If you scroll down to the attached images, you will notice 2 pages of supporting information. Mr.Gerald Rousch; very well informed, very well liked, respected and sorely missed, owner of the Ferrari Market Letter published the claims. Page #1 claims a statement made in the January 11, 1986 issue of The Ferrari Market Letter offering information pertaining to: Stolen Ferrari 375 Plus #0384: Attached Images see below The information stated in the FML is NOT a statement of fact. Had the announcement been a statement of fact, the addition of a valid Police Report would have been mentioned or included. A police report was NOT issued since claimant did NOT possess PROOF OF OWNERSHIP. Page #2 shows a picture of a Ferrari 375 Plus, racing with its easily identifiable and now famous Notched Headrest. Next to the picture is a question mark ( ? ) while referencing the chassis # 0384? The article was produced in 22 March 1986 and was written about the 375 Plus with photographs, chassis numbers, and race history that was known at the time and believed to be accurate. It has also been stated that some of the international F-chat, followers are having a problem following the events of the 375 Plus #0384. Included: A photo showing 2 Ferraris sitting in Kimberlys Neenah, Wisconsin yacht house circa 1954. Pictured is #5 a 375 plus (with a triangular headrest versus a notched headrest identified as #0394) along with #15 a Ferrari 375 MM 4.5 with its famous scalloped fenders, custom built for the millionaire playboy Jim Kimberly. Both cars were painted in Kimberly red along with the Scuderia Kimberly primus bus sitting behind the 375 Plus. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Seespotrun: 1. A lucid post. Thank you. 2. Are you trying to deny that Kleve ever owned the car? 3. How do you explain that 2 people were convicted of theft of the car and Guy Andersen was tried for the theft if there was no theft?
So because a police report was not mentioned / attached in FML as you think should have been, you conclude that there was no proof of ownenship and exclude any of the other possible reasons why no police report was mentioned in FML. Jumping to conclusion ! The question mark implies that the author did not know for certain the chassis number, but thought it could be #0384. Irrelevant. #0384 raced without notched headreast, eg post 17 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/138146432-post17.html post 50 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/139758400-post50.html Shows that the car had different headrests at different times. Marcel Massini writes in post #2 of this thread: So, in conclusion, the leading authority on vintage Ferrari states categorically that 0394 was just an engine, not a car, but you (Seespotrun - unidentified ? ) think otherwise ? Really ? M
SeeSpotRun, You are WRONG. You say "Please refer to page #85 dated, 8/12/2014, located at post #1693." Well, follow your own advice and please READ IT. I gave you the actual date the theft reports were officially amended and the VIN #0384AM officially added. The dates are from actual FBI documents. Plus, Interpol then opened a case. Why do you come here now, 25 years later, and attempt to spread this very very specific, and false, information? Why? Why is your focus on 1989 being posted here and now? Tell the Ferrari community about the below document, if you know. Joe * Image Unavailable, Please Login
