Keep racing it and updating it until you get to the last 2 10 laps races of the series and you win them comfortably. Then just use the assistant's bonuses to double up on money and points each time you win one. If you can't win because you have a very fast friend, just unfriend him from Game Center. I'm at the point of giving up with the game as I now need too many golds to progress but in this way you'll soon be able to buy most cars
The ability to buy golds (say for $1000 X your current level for each) would be a nice option. I know they want to sell gold for actual real-world money but I refuse to do that.
The rush TV Audi R8 spyder series is quite an expensive 7 days series to complete. The audi is down on power and straight line speed, but it has good grip and exit corner speeds. Make use of that. Currently, i'm stuck in the clean lap top speed at Spa. Top speed recorded is 288 km/h. My best is 284 km/h.
Just reverse on the uphill straight after Eau rouge. Another trick is to always engage the mechanic so that when you win you can go on to the next race without repairing. If you see you are about to lose just kill the app and start again. Update the car as there are some difficult challenges like lapping everybody on the last race and smashing everybody's rear window at Brands Hatch
I just got into this game 2 weeks ago on my android and looks like I found this thread a bit too late as there is a lot of useful advice I could have followed-like not using the coins to speed up repairs. I'm 100% through the Pure Stock Challenge and all the cars there are fully modded and now 99% done with the Street-spec Skirmish and just can't place higher than 2nd at Indy in the Mastare global grand finale- 3rd race from the end of that series. I also entered the Audi r8 Spyder series and bought the first level of mods for everything and 2 of 7 on engine, drivetrain & body.
The correct line at the Indianoplis Speedway Oval is very low with your car about halfway over the white line. I usually brake for just a second after the long straights on corner entry to 150-160 mph depending on the car. Smooth and steady and hold your line at the oval.
I personally would avoid worrying about getting 100% on all of the tracks. As soon as you open the next Sector move on and then go back and race until you get to 75% or the highest you can without purchasing all the cars. As you progress you can gradually go back and complete the tracks to 100%.
Thanks for the tips bro! I've completed the challenge, and before i slept off last night i had 17 hours to complete the last stage..hopefully when i go back home, i still will have time...
Is the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 used for anything other than the Power Prestige series? I've held off from completing enough races to unlock it as I don't have enough gold for the 20% discounted price it'll be upon becoming first available. Spent my gold trying to upgrade my Porsche 919 instead, so currently the only way to earn gold without completing new races is to upgrade my player level with experience, which will take a long time. If its only used for that series, then I might hold off on 100% completion for now and move on with game advancement. All the best, Andrew.
Yes, just one series. Better improving the 918. I'm at level 210 something and getting 35 golds a pop. Last 15/20 levels achieved almost exclusively racing and winning at LeMans with the 918 and turning the female assistant on. I used to jump levels with just a couple of the long races but now taking 4/5. Don't know if they changed something in the latest update but at half an hour racing for each one, it's now quite long. But it's nice getting in the zone.
What car do yall recommend for the Open Sky challenge? I have the first Aerial of course, but just to get enough to move to the next challenge should I just get the Aerial V8?
Get the aerial v8 if you can so to get to 75% just with cash updates, gaining golds in the while. The only time it is not recommendable to jump ahead of car purchases is when they're to be payed in golds as the 20% discount is then worth the wait. If I could come back in time I would not bother at all upgrading minor cars, just the best one of each series and possibly never with golds. Cash is really unimportant. You'll end up accumulating it without be able to spend it anyway, like me.
Welcomes. At least all the hours i spent on it are worth something now. It's the only game I play on my ipad but not for much longer. I miss some proper racing game a la Gran Prix 2 of the old days, with car set up and hard to master. Are you listening apple?
It's only used for that series, as someone just posted above. However, it's a really fantastic car, light and agile. You can use that car, modify it till say stage 3 and roll over everybody. This series, the Ariel Atom is a massive car on the straights, but useless around the corners. The KTM sticks on the road like glue, but no top speed. More useful for tracks like Melbourne and Laguna Seca, as well as Brands. I'm still stuck in this series. Focusing on completing the Porshes series as well as the SPyder series. Speaking of the Spyder, i fell at the last stage of the Spyder R8 challenge. Didn't have enough time. I lost so much gold/cash upgrading the car.
I've been playing Real Racing 3 for over a year. Never knew there was a thread on F-Chat about it until just now. Admit I'm a grinder too but have maybe shelled out $20.00 total for gold coins simply to advance levels as running the same races over and over gets annoying after a while. What about the time trial tournaments? There is no way in hell that some of these guys can be turning lap times a minute plus faster than me. So, I tried the suggestion they make about following the shadow car around the track to find out what their line is. No way, the ghost cars go way off the circuit where if I follow them, am penalized and the lap is not registered. So, some of these tournaments are nonsense they get you to buy more gold coins or what ever so I don't get too excited about them any more. The best is running in the night at Le Mans. I've gotten into the Ferrari F40 and F50 level and driving that F40 in the night is really fun. Nice little time waster though! BHW
I don't think so. All cars i've purchased came with zero upgrades. I'll either upgrade it to enable it to comply with the PR, and then i compete with it, rarely i fully upgrade a car, unless i'm really struggling. I stop short of upgrading it when it comes to using golds. Then again, it's subjective based on the PR. I've also just purchased a F458 Spyder.
Son of a *****!!! Has anyone won the last Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Cup in Modern Sports Classics? I cannot win to save my life. I go back and forth between the McLaren and GTR. The closest I seem to get to the 1st place car is around 100 yards. I'm at 99% on the entire challenge and cannot finish because of this one damn track!!! Pissing me off!
^cut to the inside of the first bend and at the cork screw. Otherwise unfriend the guy who keeps winning from the Game Center. Who is he?
I'm not friends with anyone so I guess it's just randomly populated. That's what I try to do, but I'll just keep trying. LOL. I have the same problem on Indy Speedway using the Mustang and or Camaro. It's damn near impossible to get higher than 2nd. Here's a tip for me. I know Brian mentioned playing Suzuka on Allocade every morning for the 100% and the double pay manager, but playing Classic Ferrari Circuit Des 24 Hours pays around $150K instead of $126K.
Try experimenting with different views and take all assists off. Otherwise you'll have to update the cars. The gtr is better IMO Also anytime you see you're not going to win, quit the app mid-race, restart it and try again without having to repair your car.
Please do refresh me what cars are available for this challenge? The Mclaren i know has horrible handling, you cannot afford to brake late with this car. I think i settled this race with the GTR. The key points to overtake is the after the first corner, the second right corner. Here, brake a bit early, carry as much speed as you can into the next corner, which is a left hander. Again, brake early, use plenty of kerbs on the left, tap the brake slightly, and hit the left apex, and you are going uphill towards the corkscrew. Carrying speed into the corners is what Laguna is. So brake early. Stay on the right on the corksrew, and overtake just as you reach the bottom. The next turn, on your right just before the last corner leading to the start/finish line is very tricky. be careful not to outbrake yourself. Pick a car that has good handling, and acceleration rather than top speed for this. I think the GTR cuts it. Use the Camaro. It has slightly better top speed. Put two wheels on the grass at the banking, better exit speeds. Be smooth. Now, the Spyder races, at Le mans rewards the most. With the manager, and 100% race bonus, i think total payout is over 200,000K. Best advice ever..
