I love the car. I agree the wheels are just a little bit too big. I think 21" and an ever so slight raise to the ride height would make it perfect for me. As to work being done outside the factory, isn't this how many of the early Ferraris were made? And today if you get a custom paint color, I believe that work is done outside the factory as well. I think so long as the factory is supervising it, its good. Ferrari has always been different. We are not talking about a widget here.

Ferrari has always outsourced a lot of work, since decades. However, I would not call Zanasi today an artisan type shop today, as Zanasi is now a really big factory with a brand new and huge building located in the new industrial zone of Maranello. Marcel Massini
I think the wheels shown on the street picture are just the regular Alternative choice for the F12 , with a special finish maybe (Bright)
