328 Heater Valves

Ok I cant be the only one looking for 1989 328 heater valves PN:126324. I am looking for OE (unobtamium from what I can find), rebuilt (same issue) or someone to rebuild them.

Any info would greatly be appreciated.

Italian Car Parts currently do not have any in stock and do not have an idea when they might get some. Seems the valves are all but impossible to find...

Really hoping to find a rebuilder at this point.

I tried Russ as well. I have tried all the major Ferrari parts suppliers in the US and a couple in Europe with no luck. that why I was hoping o find someone to rebuild if possible.

I called Ferrari Silicon Valley in Redwood City a year ago and asked about the heater valve. They recommended this guy:

He charges $95 per hour (last year) and was fairly certain he could refurbish the heater valve, but did not give an estimate for the total cost. I went the cheap route. I bought two of these (heater valves on both sides of my car was leaking):

They fit perfectly in the Ferrari - correct diameter and L-shape. The drawback is that you have to get out of the car and open the front trunk to adjust the heat. I am thinking of fabricating a bracket and an adapter so I can use the stock servos.

 

Thats a bit of a drawback!

These things must have been used on other cars, I cant believe they would have had valves made specifically for the 328.

They must also be refurb-able. I am almost wanting one of mine to fail as I want to take one apart to see what it looks like inside

Hi guys, I have the same problem, a leaking heater valve on my 1989 GTB. As we all know, the original part 126324 has been discontinued and impossible to get,
But I found out than the valve used on the 412, part 120308, will perfect feet on the 328. Any body had that experience?.

Seems to be the same part but also not available.
Eurospares will sell you this but is not suitable. Diameter to big and works contrary the OEM

I did cut the OEM in 2 parts, did change the o-ring and put a tinny screw to press this o-ring. Glued it back together with 2 component glue and it holds until now.

Before cutting valve in 2 make sure you mark both sides, so it can be glued together like is was before. Otherwise the valve will not close completly.
