They are great, I know from experience, they would have been a great improvement for the QV as well.

The best seat I have experienced in any Countach. I have noticed a black/black 88.5 in France fitted with what are clearly black 25th sports seats.

12485 was delivered tot he UK, yes. It was red when new and for many years. It was one of the first 5 Anniversary Countachs delivered in the UK at the end of 1988.

What Mr.123Q says is correct - his car is the only UK RHD yellow Anniv, then 12485 which is RHD now yellow in Oz was UK supplied in red, and the South African RHD yellow Anniv was not delivered through the UK definitely.

25th Anniversary Carb car (ZA9C005A0KLA12923) up for auction on Monday (Sept 8th) at RM Auctions is England:

    1990 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary | London 2014 | RM AUCTIONS

    They say its a 1990, but the serial number indicates a 1989? I thought "L" was 1990, "K" was 1989.

As with all the Countach auction companies estimates, this one also seems to be an under-estimate? (£140,000 - £180,000)

    Any guesses on hammer price?

    Mike

seems to me it matches the European market prices for a 25th Anniversary

25th has nothing to do with the rocket sales prices confirmed for the previous Countach moedls...

2600 km dd. Wing, no US bumpers. Highest desirable red :). England prices have been on fire with the 5000s, although they have been rh drive. 500k US?

So if you think that the Anniversary's are selling for stratospheric numbers as you eluded to in your buble statement, then why on earth would you be looking to buy one now????

Yep, was thinking this too.....No way would I be buying something that has tripled in price over 18 months.

Of course I'm just a poor schlub, so I have to wach every penny.

I highly doubt these cars will be coming down in price anytime soon, way way undervalued for so long, willing to bet we will see them at $500k here soon...Just my opinion however....

Let me clarify my position. I do not think that they are in a bubble at all. I think after 25 years they are finally getting the respect they deserve. The best is still yet to come. Who cares if there are bumps in the road, the overall trajectory is up.
The only people who don't acknowledge how great an Anniversary Countach is are the people that don't own one.
