Just a question of time before i will destroy the front or my rims..

Have a look at what challenge that faces me everyday, I absolutely hate the exit from our garage, really have to pay attention, worse design ever.. Just waiting for the day where I miss calculate... But hey it is just a car :)

Ugh. Make sure you have never imbibed before leaving. If it's any consolation I doubt if the parking sensors would help here.

That is real tight. Don't know why they didn't put a bullock there instead of that weird triangle side walk piece. Can the car clear the curb. Maybe the curb is low enough for your wheel to hit instead of the bumper. (front lift would help). What song is track 19 lol.

Service Mgr at the Ferrari dealer recently told me the factory is now encouraging dealers to install items customers want on their cars that they didn't order as new i.e. rear camera, parking sensors, etc. Ask your dealer.

I agree, the front sensors won't pick up the curbing, just the doors.

Yikes. I have similar narrow entrance thankfully straight and curved exit with 2" tall curbs. I find myself driving slowly sticking my head out the window to visualize the driver side curb. The front parking sensors don't pick up the low curb. "Don't curb the BBS" has become my twice daily mantra. Have a great wheel repair specialist. $125 per rim, was even able to repair diamond finish rim on my Cali to perfection. Oh well, when daily driving these cars, small events are bound to happen as a matter of statistics. Sometimes curb jumps out of nowhere but so far head out window works.

Reminds me of that Top Gear episode where they parked their low slung supercars in an underground city garage and blocked everyone from leaving while they figured out how to avoid tearing off the noses and scraping the bottoms of the cars at the exit.

Can you rent or trade for a parking spot elsewhere?

Love that Top gear episode.. Staged for sure but so much fun anyway..

Regarding alternative parking... Sure but it would be some distance from where I live (this is 1 min walk), and since I use the car on a daily basis it would be a hassle.

I have driven in this garage for the last 10 years, in various large cars, so fare have survived (knock on wood), but my wife absolutely murderers the rims on our X5...
