Hi, my first post. Thought I'd share a few images of my TDF Blue 456M GT.

Currently off for a re-trim. It's actually the car which was used in this Richard Hammond video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxODap65JtE

In my ownership of 12 months it's had a full respray, engine detailing, cambelt change and I've changed the wheels to some 19"s.

    Hi,

a year into ownership of the 456 TDF, thought it time to share some images.

It was in a bit of a sorry state, so far full respray, engine detailing, cambelt change plus other bits and pieces. It's now in a for a full re-trim, I can then finally start to use and enjoy her.

It's the actual car used in this early Richard Hammond video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxODap65JtE

Richard- Welcome, very pretty 456M. What 19" wheels did you fit?

I likewise have a 456GT. Interested in seeing with larger wheels. Have the OEM Maranellos but have yet installed.

There are lots of choices. If you click on my avatar, for example, you'll see 19" OZ Superleggera IIIs. You can get them for $3248 plus tax and shipping from Tire Rack. No spacers needed. Novitecs and Hamanns are a bit pricier.

Nice one. Which wheels did you go for?
I'd love to have the OEM wheels in 18 or 19".

The 456 has a lot of grace.

    Thanks for posting.

The 456 and 456Ms only had the 17" OEM wheels. (Ms have titanium rather than yellow center caps). Any OEM wheels used on them would be 550/575-designated originally.

thanks for the positive comments guys, I think the 456 is a great car and one which in future years we'll hail as a beautiful shape.

I've checked and don't have any images of the car with the new wheels. Until it comes back from the interior trim I won't be able to get one.

I've attached an image of the wheel to give you an idea. I did consider going to 18" 575/ 550 wheels, I've seen some a
cars with these wheels and they do look good. I'm more than happy with the 19" for now though and would imagine in years to come I'll put the 17" back on!

Can't wait to get it back from the re-trim. Will probably be too late to get any use this year however an early spring trip to Northern France is planned.

    Cheers,
    Richard.

That's a very handsome wheel. Reminiscent of Novitec NF2s. What brand is it? (I can't read the center cap).

Aware. What I mean is I'd be all over an 18" version of the OEM 456M wheels.

Great looking car. Is it a manual or auto?

It's a manual. You can see it in Richard Hammond's video :)
