Hi Chad, I have just gone through the same process with the dating certificate, I have been told that you can get the from the Lamborghini club UK, I got mine from Lamborghini Birmingham, it took 3 months & cost GBP540.00, I was not impressed

I owned JLA12087 for about ten years. It was a 1988 LM002 black on black. I think I sold it with just over 20,000km a few years ago. I installed super swamper truxus sts tires on it and also a Quicksilver exhaust that sounded sick!!!! I wish I never sold her

I thought Malcolm Forbes had one painted in Money Green, just like his Countach (gold phone dial wheels). I know the CT is in a cali museum...

I certainly don't own a Lambo, much less an LM002, but I know there's a blue 1990 model somewhere in North Carolina. Did you happen to add that one yet?

Yes So I have heard that the paint is often a problem on the LM002 but I had to change also the break hose and put airplane hoses and like almost every one I have trouble finding Pirelli tyres ...

I am 100% certain I still have a very very very old DuPont Registry with the listing of when it was for sale, so I'll dig that up soon and see if the listing has it.

FYI, yes, it was painted green, this photo must have been when he first acquired it.

The brake hoses are not very good. I too have replaced them with aeroquip type hoses.

Would it be possible to redo the list with the entire VIN and the vehicle particulars? Then new entries can just be added as a quote and we all can have the info to make some sense of.

A friend has one that is supposed to have been the very next US version. I will try and get his VIN. It is actually very photographed because it attended Concorso Italiano in Monterey for so many years. It is red and for a long time had Oregon plates.

A few times I saw it, it turns out. First one I found was October 1992, private seller, 16,000 miles, green / tan, no VIN listed, page 73, just under his green Countach. The ad for the LM reads:

"Original, unique color, with tan leather. A luxury workhorse with 16,000 miles from the personal collection of Malcolm S Forbes! This was his favorite car. Please direct all inquiries to ________________"

Emphasis mine. Note that if you have a copy of that issue, it does NOT say the same thing about the Countach!!!!!!

Same listing private in November 1992, this time with a price of $110k.

The LM was listed again in September 1993, page 97, same mileage, at FC Kerbeck for $69k. Again, no VIN.

The new lamborghini's are in a very negative connotation as "rap videoclip kind of car".

The first lamborghini I would consider buying that I don't have is a Series 1 Diablo or Diablo VT Roadster.
