9 am is easy. I am heading up the same time, even 10 am is fine.
I have some theater pedestals and roping if you need it. Keeps those pesky hot rodding kids and drooling fans at least 5 feet away.
Wreck at downhill exit today during pre-war car race about 2:00, track was shut down and State Police out there, can only imagine the poor guy didn't make it...
I got a pic of the wrecked car. It doesn't even look like it was that bad of a wreck. Very, very sad thing to happen today: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very sad that something so tragic happens to someone who came out with his car to bring such joy to the spectators. The car does not look bad, but those old cars weren't built with safety in mind for the operator.
very sad to hear this. I was planning on going to the event this year but business took me west. I had so looked forward to this great event but in a way, I am glad I was not there to see this. I am very sorry for the loss and send my condolences to the family. r.i.p.
I didn't see the crash, I just ran over to see what happened, and got there just as the car was being towed away. I thought "Oh, that isn't so bad" but once I heard what happened, I am now feeling very depressed. Again, I am so sorry for the loss of this man, and I pray for his family that they will be okay.
I was very sorry to hear that the accident turned out as a fatality. My wife and I were there for the first time and we were very sad about this and also offer prayers and condolences for the family. I took this photo literally 20 seconds before the accident. Mr. Duran was driving the MG in the lower right of the photo. Rest in peace, sir. http://i4.minus.com/iFF12Z3ZtlIlS.JPG
The concours was great. In addition to all the great cars at the Ferrari group there was a lovely 330 GTS, Peter K's 212, a newly restored Boano and Jim's p 3/4. Image Unavailable, Please Login
