Jalpa thread

I'm thinking about buying a jalpa-am I totally nuts? I've always liked the orphans...

Ideally I'd get a silhouette, but those seem hard to find, unless of course anyone here has any leads..

 

I have been lucky enough to have my jalpa for >20yrs. Drove mine in Cresent Classic in AR last year and was absolutely a blast and performed great against the newer cars...... if you have an opportunity, get one and enjoy!

 

ivor here on fchat knows of one fs. not original color but a nice straight car never the less. it spent most of its life in the usa but now is back in europe.

 

I helped to sold one recently, and a 2nd one is actually under transaction, you are too late... but when I will see next one, I keep an eye for you !

 

I've often wondered what has become of my old Jalpa (DLA12071). Last update I had, the car was in Texas and the new owner was investigating turbocharging the engine. He used to post on the other forum, but hasn't been on in ages......

The seats do not look original, since such a combination is more than uncommon.

I saw traces of red Color under the black at the fuel cap, but how Comes the lower miles...

 

I have seen several examples of "naive" miles/kms conversions but I am unable to reconcile this one.

Is the odometer for USA cars in miles or kms?

Yes, that price includes the 10% buyer's premium.

 

This is probably the best Jalpa video out there. Mic hooked up near exhaust, tons of camera angles, and driven like it was meant to!
