Geez all these panties in a bunch because they weren't going to risk damaging my car?? What the hell, let 'em all take it for a spin, I'm sure it'll still be ok for me to drive home!! Lighten up dudes!!
Are you getting crabby these days? What wrong with you? Shad you said so earlier, I would have been more willing to listen.
And I was so hoping it was another AGAIN. Need another 100+ page scandal to lighten my sleepless nights
Donate it? That is a generous offer but I will be selfish and keep it. If the carfax shows 50 owners and hit by a train I'll still drive it as long as it appears to be stuck back together ok.
Not quite a scandal... but there's a twist in this tale: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/459226-1992-348-ts-sale.html
Hey gang, First off, stevie 77 930 said "calm", not clam. Did some nice individual "fix" it ?? Shame. Secondly, those that bought tickets, can chill. It's all a pure as mother's milk. If you didn't buy a ticket, you've got no horse in this race, so you absolutely can chill. 60 years ago, when I was just entering Van Nuys High School, I met a senior named William (Bill) A Schampeau. He was this big dude, played varsity football. I was a little kid, collected tickets at the stadium gate. Just two years ago, I saw him again, and met his wife, at the FCA Concorso Ferrari in Pasadena, CA Early this year, Bill passed on. I have spoken with Louisville HS officials. Not to doubt - - not to worry - - And if I win that car, I'll repaint the Euro front valance to its original body color, with just 1/4" of black at the very bottom leading edge. Cheers, Hank
On this 1 issue Hank I respectfully ask you to relax. The "clam" and the whole "fish" theme is a carryover from another thread. Some of the guys who have posted on this thread were part of the worst fish puns ever from another thread. So just that part was all in fun, albeit a bit of an inside joke.
Too much stupid BS for my taste. All I was trying to do was let you folks know that I for one, knew that this raffle was for real. Y'all be well, happy and successful. Over & out, Hank
Some people need to RELAX... I bought a raffle ticket, not a Ferrari, so I'm not expecting a test drive or a CarFax... I, for one, trust that everything is legit, and have already made my flight arrangements to go to CA to pick up my "new" 308...
If you really want to pick up my car and deliver it to me in OK, we might be able to work something out
Guys! You might as we resign yourself to the fact that I will need someone to watch over the car until I leave Kuwait... And, since I live in Oklahoma........... Well..... Darn, I might have to take bids on who gets to keep it for me...
What you poor dreamers didn't know, is that I own the company that printed the raffle tickets. And they all have the same number on them - - MINE - - - hahahahahaha !!!!! Wouldn't that be a rat's ass ? Cheers gang. And have fun, safe weekend. Hank
You know you want us to keep it.... you really do, what better place than with it's brothers and sisters! S
My only question is whether or not I would have to have a service done - after I drive my winner back to Maryland from California!
Nah - - major service was done fairly recently. BTW, you need not worry about that, since I'll be the one to bring Bill's 308 into my stable of horses. Cheers, Hank Image Unavailable, Please Login
I am waiting for last minute to buy a ticket so my ticket ends up on the top... lol I will buy a ticket, if I win, I will create another raffle and all the money will go to Wounded Worriers and condition the new buyer to raffle the car again for another good cause.
