I've actually day dreamed of trying out germoglio over black boxer with my GTB. I tried to photoshop it but couldn't do it right. I think it would look cool...and piss off the purists. Add chrome OEM wheels like some dude did to his GT/4 a few years back, and we could all watch the DNA unravel in some folks! I might be able to even get a swinging hip hula girl on the back shelf to round it out. Once you stop having fun, you know you're old...

    Ciao!

Yours has a very nice paint job, and looks just fine.

I would have a hard time adding Boxer trim to your car, I would leave it solid yellow.

I agree. Meant for mid-late 70s cars and stops there. And certain colors fit better than others. But not a QV.

For a long time I thought I would like it, but once I finally acquired my 308, I decided to leave it alone.

If you decide to do it, the car should be red or silver. Otherwise, don't.

Leave it as-is... it's gorgeous and already has adequate yellow-black visual contrast points.

I like the boxer trim, but then again I too am biased. Mine is not from the factory though as it was originally Nero and someone before me painted the top half resale red. One of these days I am going to paint the lower half the proper flat black instead of gloss like it is now.

Why not go have the bottom half wrapped in flat black? That way you get to try it on for a while. If you decide you do not like it, have it removed - no harm no foul.

Your car looks gorgeous I would not change a thing. IMHO it looks great on a 512 but I've never much cared for the boxer trim on a 308. That said, the rosso and grigio 308's wear it the best . . .
