I have a 91 3.3 turbo that I bought about 2 years ago. It's been an amazing car. Fast enough to have fun with, but not overwhelmingly fast like today's turbos are on the public streets.

I bought it to drive it, so obviously I wasn't looking to spend 3.6 money at the time. But I love seeing the attention the cars are getting and I think rightfully so.

I also can't help but like watching the 3.6 values rise like the are either, has to give my lowly 3.3 a bump too!

There is a correlation between 3.6 and 3.3 prices, the 911 Turbo 3.6 is a very low production car which is sub 1,500 units built between 1993 & 1994 that includes the Turbo S (3.6) which was around 90 cars built (17 of them with the normal front end) and the rest are Slant Nose.

I am very fortunate in owning a 911 Turbo 3.6, the 964 Turbo is the last original "911 Turbo" single turbo RWD air-cooled car.

turbo 3.6 is a cool car and deadly good looking but let's be realistic. it is overweight and the 3.6 turbo engine does not suffer from over development. i have one and enjoy it. i also have 964 turbo s, 964rs and 964 speedster and many other aircooled porsches. i have a 997.2 turbo stick and feel it occupies a similar place in porsche history in some ways

I want one so bad but i feel like i missed the boat. Either they are too expensive or they are super high mileage.

I used to be very obsessed with this 3.6 model, I considered it the king of 964 (my favorite generation). It just looks so right.

Later on my preferences changed after I got a taste of lightweight cars and rev happy engines, and given the choice today I would get a Speedster instead.

How are the Speedster prices holding up compared to the 3.6 prices? Anyone know? They are so rare on the market, I have no idea what's going on with them price wise.
