With updated brakes, I think 328, and a 328 motor!

Work continues on the front clam and hopefully colour later today (well we simply have to). Meanwhile detailed work being done on the old clam to establish correct position for the tow hook and in the background calibration of the fuel tank ongoing.

As you can see, it is currently all hands to the pump.

Very beautiful result. Which magazine is going to present the car?

Good question and finally I am free to answer.

We have been in discussions for so time but finally I have agreed an exclusive deal with EVO and they will be doing a major article which I think compliments the car and the project perfectly. I considered Top Gear but they are less 'serious' in my view and all Evo's drivers for such a car are international standard racers with GT and endurance car experience and thus more likely to understand the car and get the best from it.

It looks like we will have at least an element of the front cover and a minimum of 8 pages inside. In addition, there will also be an Evo video for YouTube.

All very exciting and as I said, I think perfectly complements the quality and goals of the project.

PS Still the old clam but new clam in paint as I type,

    WHAT?!

Yes, don't I know it and only this pm did the first coat of colour hit the clam. And then, with the 'threat' of Evo hanging over us, we have to make sure the performance match the looks.

Fantastic that you choose EVO! By far my favourite magazine. Can't wait for the video to come about. Luckily I'm moving back to Europe this month because EVO doesn't get imported here anymore.

EVO doing a story on this car is fantastic news. They've done some wonderful stories on significant road and race cars over the years. Very much looking forward to the article and hoping that Richard Meaden will be doing the honours. Should we assume that the article could appear in time for some pre-Christmas reading?

I hope ex EVO man Harry Metcalfe will also be having a little look. He still does the odd video with them, I really love how he explains all the details etc.

As a subscriber to EVO's iPad edition (which I can heartily recommend to all), this is great news!

And good luck on finishing the project in time. Deadlines always help to focus and get a result!
