I don't think Ricci needs any team orders. He knows his way around..;)
I don't disagree, but it's the issue is that he's openly talking about it to the press... that he thinks there needs to be. To say he's a longshot is very very very very very hopeful. It's just very premature of him to be saying such things in my opinion. It shows a different side of him and I'm a disappointed a bit. It just fuels my worry a bit that he's "believing the hype" already... so to speak. Of course this is all predicated on what I know, not necessarily what actually is. I'm just going by what I've read and made my own assumptions on tone and intent. Probably not fair, but I'm okay with it. I just have this odd feeling now and I'll wait to see how it plays out this year and next.
I don't think he is believing the hype so much as stating facts that IF there is a chance he hopes that RB will make the right decisions to help..... (unlike they did for MW) The media really are the worst reporters of news
Every point may be THE point that wins the WDC. Anything could happen in the remaining races with MERC. I personally always want to see teammates race. That's why I am a fan or racing and not a team owner or driver.
Fair comment! I guess the Hobart Mercury is just another bastion of journalistic integrity along with 99% of the others. Cheers, Ian
