Being that I live near the event, it'd be easy to run back home to grab any tools that are lacking, day of. Hope the weather cools off by then.

Mitchell - Schedules permitting would be fun to caravan down from NorCal together in our matching Swatters Blue/Tan 355 Spiders. Will make people think they're seeing double.

The list is growing with a few new guys coming. I don't see Vince on the list but I'm assuming he will be there. No Oz (Gothspeed) or Craig (Calder1) as of yet.

Brief summary of the habits of my TC. When I turn the wheel to the right it may go left. When I turn the wheel to the left it may go right or straight. When I try to stop it may not, and for speed it may get through the 1/4 mile going down hill and with a strong wind behind it.

Anyone have any suggestions. I cant get rid of it because it has senior citizen privileges.

Have you thought about tightening the nut that holds the steering wheel on? That may help with your steering problems. I had a wheel come off in my hands once driving down a freeway off ramp.

I really should appologize. I have been spoofing a little. I actually took out the original steering and replaced it with a datsun unit and it now steers straight. Took off the MG brake drums and replaced them with Datsun drums and the car actually stops pretty goood. As far as the speed it is still slooooooooooooooow. I think I will bring it on the 20th if you dont mind.

It was on an off ramp off the 101. Quickly shoved it back onto the steering column and held it in place while I slowly worked my way down the ramp. I found the nut on the floor, put it back on hand tight and drove it home. This was in a '70 Ford Bronco. Still have the vehicle though I looking to sell it this year.

Love them too but not driving it at all. Two Ferraris in the garage so something needs to go. It needs a new clutch but that's rather simple. I've been watching the pricing recover on them. Low end seems to be around $18K and upwards in to the $50K range. Special pricing for an FChat Stooge!

The wife wants to know if she can come with and if there will be other female company. She's not into the whole car thing herself. I figure she's due because of the past events she has done for us, but I don't want her bored.

Your wife is a gem and has put up with us too many times. We should chip in and send her for a "spa day". I will chip in. Alternatively, I'm sure she can bring pictures of you as a boy. That and some stories passed down by your mother and we could have lots of entertainment.

Speaking of tools, any one have a set up to check the AC in my 328? Don't know if it is leaking, simply needs a recharge or just crappy Ferrari AC.
