    A Countach in an unusual color is universally admired. This seems to be true of all sports cars, the departure from the norm seems to make them more interesting, and therefore special.

    No, but its a special color similar to Blu Miura, and this car has been seen in Italy variously over the past 6-7 years. It was featured in a magazine test with LP400, LP500S, 25th etc.

    Those car show photos illustrate exactly why the original Countach was such a revelation when compared to what else was on show. Great to see the Lancia Stratos HF Zero in the background too. Probably my all time favourite show car.
    Speaking of the LP500; when it was "crash tested", would they have ripped out the prototypes dash and original instrumentation I wonder? To me that original interior was just as amazing as it's outwards appearance. Most likely long gone I'm guessing which is a shame as that aspect of the original design seems to have been forgotten.

    It was the first time I saw a QV with white interior and black seats. Probably not factory original.
