Hey guys...it's been a crazy summer and haven't posted a shop project update in a while.

Here's a super clean 1989 328 GTS that we just completed stage 1 of a big project to make it even a nicer example. It will be back this winter for full suspension bushing overahaul and some other bits. Yes... we will be removing the red paint from the brake calipers! :)

We are now making the stainless braided Polymide fuel lines in house...matching the original specs. See picture below

I'll be posting a full shop update soon with pictures of recent Fcars that we've serviced

    Best,
    Steve

Yes... The braided lines on a 308QV are the same as the 328. Contact me if you need a new set.

You guys do such great restoration work. I'm looking forward to you working on my 48' Chevy this winter. The engine replacement and sorting out of other issues with the truck I know will be done correctly. AMNE does fabulous work!

-Major service, oil leak repairs - cam seal carriers and drain hole update
-Cam cover and timing cover restoration

Here's some pictures of the process

What is the drain hole update? What years does this effect?
Where can I find more info on it?

    Hi Domenic,

The oil drain update is for the oil drainback hole on RH bank exhaust cam seal area in the cyl head. The factory drilled the hole in the incorrect spot on several 8cyl engines(328, F40, etc). There is a jig that we use to drill a new hole which allows oil to drain back into the engine and not pool up behind the cam seal.

In this picture you'll see the small hole is too high.

    Best,
    Steve
