Is Scuderia Rampante also selling cars now ?

Does anyone local in the area know whether Dave has officially expanded into selling / brokering certain cars --- in addition to his service shop ? I've heard rumors....

 

I'll jump in and say, maybe.

I was at Dave's shop earlier this summer, which BTW is totally awesome, some photos of which are in a thread in this section, and there were several cars that were in the shop, or rather, the Scuderia Rampante Innovations showroom that appeared to be in near perfect condition.

I didn't ask if they were for sale but I assumed they were, or at least I assumed they weren't being service because they were't on a lift or in the shop area but in the showroom area.

Or, the cars I saw where not for sale and where just part of the usual rotation at Dave's shop.

The car that caught my eye was a 512 BBi in Boxer trim, which is rare, and it appeared to be in great condition.

So, in closing, ummmmm, I'm not sure but if Dave is getting in the sales/broker business but based on what I saw, if you want the best, be prepared to pay for the best.

The BBi is for sale. Some say it's the best BBi around. It does have a proper Boxer paint scheme.

Dave needs more room

 

Yes. The Jag is for sale. There is a Ducati he's selling. I think eventually the "barn find" Dino 246 will be for sale. I've told him if he sells the BBi then we can't be friends, but with BBi prices sky rocketing, I think I may lose that battle. Many clients have been asking him to help sell their cars. So he's finally giving in to peer pressure.

 

I am surprised he didn't sell cars a long time ago. Also nice to have dealer tags to roll around on!

 

I told him to buy the car. So he did.

Last I heard it was for sale. I wish I could Pony-up the change ........

So go buy the 512 and free-up some (of his) space.

 

It's a great version. If I was in the market for a BBi, this one would be at the top of the list. And probably the most expensive.

BB's are climbing fast. And I mean real fast. Yesterday, $250k. Today, $350k. Tomorrow, $400k.

BTW, Dave's shop is looking really nice. I posted some photos in a thread below.

It was just a matter of time. I recall having a difficult time getting anyone to pay $125k for a nice example maybe 6-7 years ago.

 

Dave never ceases to amaze me. Seriously, does that man ever sleep?
