Hello, I am new to the forum but have been lurking for a while. I am now in the market to buy a Ferrari, specifically the 355. I know there is a lot of negativity around getting damaged ones and fixing them or salvaged, but for me who works on high end cars and likes to bring them back and put them on the road I enjoy it. I would like to get/pick up some cars that need or may need work on them - priced low, spend some on them to fix them properly and make them reliable and safe and turn them for a profit. Any recommendations on where to find some? Preferrably extremely light body or mechanical work is ideal. Anything goes tho! If anyone here has one they are looking to unload as well, Im open to cars! thanks!
Manheim Auto Auction in Manheim, PA They have exactly what your looking for and possibly slightly better.
Yep. The cars that need quite a bit of work are still not selling as low as they should be, not that they are commanding more, just the owners won't sell. Cars that need 20k worth of work are for sale for mid 40's and it just does not make sense.
No money in these cars unless you have a stockpile of parts to get rid of Better off flipping Hondas I'm still trying to get rid of a few Harley Customs, this one makes it's own hydrogen Image Unavailable, Please Login
That bike is super badass! Lovin the see through tanks and tubing and snail you have bolted looks like fun
Ive been checking manheim regularly. they don't have any 355's listed anywhere in their system so far - that I have seen. I know its tough to make $$ on these cars but I don't mind sitting on them. I have had a few Lotus Elise's and did pretty well on them. Trying to search out and get a feel of where else to look. Iaai used to be my main source. Copart - never had good luck with them. burned 5 times over by them, on 5 cars haha! Worst case, I could always part out the car if its to much to repair it. but its also sad to see these beauties stripped down
