Yep. Interesting leak. I wonder what the official release will look like. Probably coming out pretty soon.

Seems a logical alignment to the North and South American races at the end minus Canada.

I tried to get a room at the Mexican airport but they too are playing the idiotic Austin hotel game: all blocked

    No. Total idiocy taking over.

Greed is good. Greed would only raise the prices. Capitalism at its finest, I'm ok with that.

No, these clowns take their hotels off the market. For any price. Pure idiocy.

We booked our rooms at the beginning of this year for the Canadian Grand Prix 2015. We got a good rate right in the heart of Montreal. We bought airfare at the same time. We were just praying that the race was scheduled around the same time as previous years, that they paid Bernie enough money, and they were still on the calendar (flashback 2009). It worked out. My wife and I are very excited. This will be our first Grand Prix.

I love the Canadian Grand Prix. Great track, great city. And I hoping a great F1 car for next year.

Here, try this link. Lots of airport hotels available in MXC for the F1 weekend:

Hotels.com - hotels in Mexico City, Mexico

Why? Half the damn calendar is in 'new' venues, what makes the final race any different?

Anyone seen any news on if the double points BS is going to survive? Surely, that's got to go away at least....

    Cheers,
    Ian

    I wish that was true.

Lots of hotels in the city but nothing left at the airport.

???? There are like 20 there within 3.5 miles of the airport. 2 of them less than 2 miles away. But unlike Hotels.com, most search engines don't allow searches this far ahead, and most hotels don;t allow reservations this far out. That could be part of it.

The really nice/safe hotels near the airport all claim to be sold out, which is BS. They just blocked that date. Has nothing to do with being that far out.

They did this in Indy and in Austin. I never understood it. If they want to make a buck, just jack up the prices like everywhere else. I'm fine with paying a premium, but I hate not even having a chance to book.

And IIRC, it was still labelled "draft" and changed later than that.... [Wasn't NJ still on it for example?]

There's a few "cast in stone", but the new ones, or the "dodgy" ones come and go till the new year......

    Cheers,
    Ian

This is what I'm talking about: All the big and nice hotels at the airport are sold out. Over a year in advance? Yeah right.
