i wish they made the factory 355 wheels in 19" I think the 355 wheels are the best ferrari wheels ever!
+1 . Sometimes i feel like the only person alive who does not like black wheels. Polished lip - yes , all black , for me , no I do like that style wheel tho, would look awesome polished lip w/ silver centers. " serenity now "
Typically I'm not a huge fan of black wheels on any car, but I must say: those look dam good on your car, especially with the carbon shields. It's gotta look killer from a rear-side view with the black challenge grill! Well done, Eric
The new owner of my white GTS just sent me pictures. He painted the stock wheels black. Actually looks pretty good!
I'm with you - growing up in the 60s, the American cars had black wheels if you couldn't afford hub caps. In the 70s, it was base model black wheels, maybe with trim rings or hub caps, then the (silver) alloy wheels were the upmarket or performance wheels. In the 80s and 90s, even if you had (silver) alloy wheels for summer, the move to separate wheels for separate winter tires meant many people ran cheap black steel wheels for winter tires. In all cases, black wheels has signified the cheap basic wheels, all my life! I just can't find them attractive.
I have to say, to each his own, but I'm a fan of stock wheels. Plus, I think the silver wheels really accented the color of your car.
It's all subjective but to me they look like four of the spares they put in the trunks of new cars. The car is way to beautiful to be accessorized so poorly. R.I.P. Joan Rivers and the fashion police... Oh wait... A smiley face 😄
Now i don't feel like its just me, i thought eric's car looked awesome with the stock wheels Aside from color, i think 18's are perfect on a 348/355 . They are small cars and 19's seem to look too big on them , just my 2 cents tho . To each his own . " serenity now "
This company could make you some OEM looking 19" wheels. I don't know how much they would cost. EVOD Boyd Coddington made some 17 "and 18" replica wheels for the Detomaso Pantera. The originals wheels were 15". They did a nice job. Retained the OEM look, but updated.
Just a reminder. Beauty and the beast? Guess I'm just an old fart that doesn't get it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
