I searched and found it (the photo at least). Looks like an '89 car (convex wheels).

The decal on the plate is orange... When did we use orange, 2012? Could be a clue as to when the photo was taken.

No idea of who owns the car. One of the few blue 3X8s I know of is (or was, I haven't seen it in over a decade) was a carbed '79 GTS, S/N: 27963, metalic blue over tan with blue carpets.

Thanks Peter. I hadn't considered the "decal" color as a guide to when the photo was taken. I was just surprised to learn of another dark blue 328 so close to Vancouver or even in BC Good to chat with you in person at the show. I understand that you also met Ken with his 308. It was a great day for a drive from Vancouver to Mission. Jon

 

Yeah, I did, but all too briefly. His car is amazing.

Pretty good spotting today in Richmond:

- Heading westbound on the east-west connector, a red 355 Berlinetta with the Challenge grille on the back.

- Heading westbound on Alderbridge Way, a white Aston V8 Vantage coupe.

- Not long after seeing the Aston was a white Bentley Continental GT (heading in the same direction on Alderbridge).

- Waiting at the traffic light (facing north) on Garden City Road at the intersection of Alderbridge was a Lamborghini Aventador done up - probably in vinyl wrap - in a kind of electric blue chrome colour. There was a logo on the door, but it was hard to read. Very striking and eye-catching to say the least!

 

saw a red F12 downtown yesterday, dark grey Huracan and several 458s

 

red 430 spider on 200th street in Langley today.

Last night spotted a dark blue? maybe black 360 coupe again in Langley on Fraser Hwy. It was dark, so hard to see the exact colour

Beautiful car....but kind of overdone with the names on the door sides (different name on driver side door).... I guess the owner would like to be very easily identified.....LOL

saw a new white Vanquish on Granville today, looked great. a few minutes later a dark color F12 drove by.

First 918 arrived yesterday in Vancouver. Black with grey magnesium rims and weissach package. Brown interior

Just curious.... How can you rely on the opinion of someone you don't really know and especially don't know whether he or she is qualified to offer an opinion on the car you're interested in?

 

Good point. So I get them to take it to a shop to have the clutch read and inspected.
The original seller needed a deposit (which could be fair) but someone local can easily get it to a shop I trust to get a report without having to place a deposit.

Drove into Vancouver Saturday night. Spotted the white Corsa Beer 458, and a white Lamborghini Huracan. Sounded intense !

 

The "Ding" Aventador is owned by a University Student at UBC.

Spotted a black 458 spider on Hwy 1 heading East last night around 5pm.

 

Looks like a Speciale in the FMoV showroom. White with black trim, no stripe. Any other info?

 

It was traded in from a member on this board. He got a 2015 FF. Apparently it has 2000km on it.

 

Seems like this was in BC. Anyone know the driver?
