We have been saying many years, that F1 needs to go back to basics to spice things up. Screw the DRS and all...

I think there are two directions to go on this... obviously having a 17 year old in F1 raises questions I suppose... but I'm not sure making the car "harder" to drive is the directions I'd like to see.

If you increased downforce, provided better tires, better aero (all over), active suspension, etc... all that technology can provide... I think you'd have a completely different race. I think it would be unbelievably fast but for the driver... any mistake would equate to a severe penalty in their time. I'd rather just see these guys going as fast as possible, screaming at 17 to 20K rpm and have to drive with absolutely precision where missing the apex by an inch could cost a tenth.

Just a different thought maybe and I realize not articulated all that well, but I'm in a budget meeting and I'm pretending to appear interested... but you get my jist.
