I'm looking for a 355 in an off color: Azzuro California, Canne di Fucile, even Nero Daytona, etc. It has to be a Berlinetta and I would prefer for it to be an F1 but I'm open to years and transmission choices if it's a spectacular car. Low miles aren't necessary but it should be a nice, well cared for example. It will be driven so I would prefer to buy one that has been driven regularly with a lot of maintenance done and done often. It's going to be a keeper for me so I'm going to be picky about condition and care; forgive me. Please PM me with what you have. Thanks.

Why should we forgive you? Just admit it; you're a picky "bastxxx". You want what you want, and you should have it even if you have to wait. Isn't it interesting how many more berlinettas were built, but how relatively rare they are on the market? Good luck on your hunt.

There were more built, but I don't think more came to the US. There was a beautiful Verde Silverstone Metallic car at the classics on the green show 2 weekends ago, the color was hypnotizing and one of only 4 known in the US. I don't think the seller is interested in getting rid of it, but it's amazing how good the 355 looks in less popular colors. Luckily for me, I'm partial to yellow which is the 2nd most popular color, but I would have taken any of the blues instead if the right deal presented itself.

No, saw one in Houston about 15 years ago in Azzuro Hyperion with Bordeaux interior.
It was absolutely stunning and I would buy one in either Azzuro Hyperion or Azzuro California over red in a heartbeat!!
Maybe I can stumble across one before Ryan :)

There's that Azzuro GTB at Cavallino every year, best 355 I've ever seen. January isn't too far away... prying the car from the owners' hands might be easier said than done though.

Thanks, guys. I can wait. I'm a patient dude. I waited 3+ years for the 348 Challenge of my choosing to come available, I can wait for this.

    Eric, that car is sweet.

    Because I like clunky. :)

Honest answer: it's the first F1, its a mostly mechanical system (no fly by wire, etc) and you have to really drive it, unlike the later systems. It's engaging and interesting. I'm not interested in newer F1 systems.

Yes, I know it costs more to maintain but I will take it all in consideration with the purchase price. And it's not like if it's my only Ferrari so I don't need it to be all things to me. I have my expectations set accordingly.

I had argento Nurburgring before. Loved it but let's see what else is out there.

Before you present my car collection as Exhibit A and prove me guilty as charged, I'll admit it.

    Okay, I'm a picky bastard. :)

I'm going to be buried in my "off-color" Nero F355 Berlinetta. You're smart to pick one up now rather than 10 years from now. Just drove mine 250 miles today, so awesome!!

    What's considered "off-color"? Not red? :)

    This is spot-on.

    I really enjoyed my 355F1.

Good luck with the search Ryan, you can still find good ones out there!!
