    Got my old magazines back from loan and while putting them back to shelf I randomly went through them and ran into this. Report of 1956 Nürburgring race in Auto und motorsport, that Porsche has seriously big wing. As I dont read german I didn't get the details, does anybody know anything about the car and the wing?

    Michael May designed that wing. He was an engineer who pioneered aerodynamic devices.

    more picts of the 356 carrera! Oh how I would love one of those.... preferably a 550, though a carrera speedster works, forred by a carrera cab, then a carrera sunroof coupe, then a carrera coupe. ;)

    Here's my Irish green '69 911E. It has a very strong '70 S MFI engine which the original owner installed 40 years ago. It has 22/28mm torsion bars, sway bars and bilsteins so it handles like a more contemporary 911. The early 911's are very special drivers and with the sport muffler, make all the right sounds!

    I agree. Not many cars can pull off green (and those who can are almost always vintage). Lovely car.
