That's awesome! It looks to have some miles, though - how many?

arrived today, 1500 miles car, never got rain. It runs. Just done fluids full service. We decided it will remain a time capsule. If we want to drive a 348, there are many much cheaper: this one hast to remain a beauty forever.

    ciao

Beautiful example! Were non-catted 348s for non-US only?

very cool. I hate to see cars stored and never used. But after this long, you might as well keep it a time capsul.

it would be cool to get a pair of those factory cat delete pipes haha

i think you should show us some pics of what else is hidding in there!

Interesting to see under hood painted body colour, sure mine was satin black last time I looked? Now I'm curious and will have to go out to the garage to check. Mines got 4500 miles on it so its a worn out banger compared to this one!

Early cars had red (body color) under hood.

That looks like a twin of my red tan 1948 mile one owner 348 TB. Mine has the original tires and it's never been washed. It had an engine out service about six years ago, which was probably a waste since it is stored in a climate controlled garage. Going in next month to have all fluids changed.

Hmmm...interesting, I didn't know about the red under the hood. AFAIK, mine was the 5th 348 delivered to the US, the 17th TS built, and it's matte black under the hood.

So does all the rubber coated plastic garbage on the interior still get sticky if it's never used or put outside?

Just? There is no car more exciting to see. ;)

I have mixed feelings on seeing a time capsule car. There aren't enough photos from when the cars were new, so it's great to have as a resource and see how these cars were presented for delivery. However, as aforementioned, it's one less car that was enjoyed by someone even if preserved for an important reason. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I noticed that also, my 348 is a 94 spider and it is satin black , i guess that was a change and earlier cars were body color .

In your first post you said no miles and then later said 1500. Thats still insanely low, but its not "no (0) miles"

While searching for my 348 around th first of the year, I thought I ran across a 348 here in the states with even lower miles than that but I could be wrong since it was obviously not on my (price) radar so I didn't spend too much time on it. Another f-chatter here I think saw it in person.
