I bought a building around a year and a half ago. It's minutes away, double the space, much nicer......now one street north of the old store, on Scollard and one block east, close to Bay.....

It is a beautiful street. Yorkville used to have charm, sadly it is no longer the street it was 23 years ago when I opened. Back then it had character, many interesting galleries and one of a kind shops. Now it's all hotel-condo-restaurants and buildings that are about to be torn down. It will be nice again in 5-10 years when the dust finally settles, but until then it will be an ongoing construction zone. Scollard's properties are designated 'heritage' so none of the vintage properties can or will be torn down. It's pleasant going to work without seeing heavy equipment, drilling machines and mud everywhere.
