Me too.... In my case, add 10, 14, 18 & 20. I'm debating if I should even *look* at 'the worlds hardest car quiz'..... Cheers, Ian
13 the first time, 14 the second. I fell for the trick on the Finnish champions, KNOWING that Kovalainen never won anything. Then I realized the one with the lady included Nina Rindt. Wasn't certain she was Finnish but it had to be the right answer. It was...
Kova won Hungary 2008 after massa put on a driving clinic, including schooling hammy. Ferrari Engine blew with a few laps left. I think that even more than Singapore that year cost Ferrari n Phil the wdc. It was the second time in 2 seasons that a blown motor cost a ferrari driver the wdc, the time before that was ms in Japan 2006. It was Kova's only victory. I still consider that 2008 Hungary drive massa's finest. This is the type of **** I remember off the top of my head, which is why I did well on the quiz.
****SPOILERS**** if you want to do the quiz, please read no further!....... That he won 'nothing' wasn't the question though - it was WDC's, and I got it by a process of elimination. TBH, I didn't know it was Nina in the pic, but I was sure it couldn't have been any of the other answers. Cheers, Ian
Yes, to be honest I didn't take my time, I flipped through it, and yes some were very tricky, I thought almost trick cryptic. But still well done..
11 = 52% that's a pass at any educational institution - better than what I achieved in my formative assessment
Indeed. How about you?....... I thought it was one of the best of this 'genre' I've ever done. Carefully worded, good pix etc. and some of the Murray references were *awesome*. Cheers, Ian
I'm too stupid for this quiz so I tried to buy my way to a 3 out of 21. I cheated off a guy named Chilton.
Does anyone have the actual answers? Would be interested to know which ones I missed. I can guess some of them (Pirelli, flag, obsolete circuit) but not certain of the other four.
Thanks - on a couple I had to make an "educated" guess... but it was more of weeding out the wrong answers vs. getting the right one. and then most of it was just crap I know some how...
17 - 80%. Not bad for someone not a quarter century old I'd think...? Got the road car question wrong, engine downsizing, shortest distance and liters of air per minute.
