    Yeah, I started watching it but didn't finish. I read the article/comments instead and saw a couple of Euro QV pics and posted them in this thread. There's actually a thread regarding the article itself http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-328/456428-3x8-getting-love-jalopnik-today.html. I'm sure folks there will be be sharing your sentiments regarding the carb GTS in the video soon.

    Wow! I'm pretty late in answering this question...
    The 8th digit is a B
    I have the importation documents on the car from the NHSTB.
    I was told the Federalization on this car required the US bumpers and turn signals. I don't know about the mirrors.
    It has the screens installed over the intake ducts which I was told were required in Germany.
    Which is also where the car was imported from. Paperwork does not mention catalyst as being a requirement.

    vp277...Sundays are tough for me, Im usually working. But I will certainly try and meet up at some point. Glad to have found this group. Should be a welcome resource of knowledge and information.

    Hi, I'm looking at euro to buy and found one which came from Germany, did they all come with that deep spoiler front, how did you find out the specs? Also, mine still has the km gauges for the speedo, no miles.. Is that normal?

    No such thing as "normal" with these cars. Even the importers who did several of them, weren't consistent. Spoilers (front and rear) were optional, side lights are there most of the time but sometimes not, some have emissions equipment and big bumpers, while others were paper "conversions" only. Mine has the side markers and a speedo/odo in miles but otherwise isn't converted at all. For some weird reason it has an earlier euro exhaust. Check the car out and if it's a good one, buy it.
