    Is it a worthwhile option?

I like the Idea of more light in the car and being able to see more, my concerns are will it allow more heat to build up inside and will it transmit more noise from outside?

    Any views would be appreciated.

I'm not an FF owner though from my perspective it looks like a must have option.

I don't like sunroofs on any vehicle, never use them, and love the leather headliner in my FF which is two tone cuoio and crema.

Yes, it is totally worthwhile, in fact it was a near deal breaker for us when it was not available at initial release of the FF. Adds quite a bit more headroom which is really nice for those of us who are taller in the torso. Also makes a far more enjoyable ride for those in the back seat. You don't see out it much from the front without pushing seats all the way back and reclining, but in big cities with skyscrapers, or out in wooded areas with canopy of trees overhead, its stunning. Also just nice to glance up and see the clouds.

We've never noticed any heat coming in from it. Tint level is sufficient to minimize that, while still offering a good view out. Most solar energy gain seems to come from the windshield. I've never been bothered by the light in my eyes.

Most noise in the car comes in from the noise transmitted through tires/wheels. Never noticed any noise at all from the glass roof at all. WE had a metal roof FF for a short while, and I couldn't tell any difference in noise between the two cars.

Added bonus: I think it helps to visually break and improve the side profile of the car, distinguishing the sides from the roof.

I'd not ever order a car with sunroof, but the panoramic glass roof is a must for us.

    +1.

But if you love sunroofs, by all means go for it. One size never fits all. Never.

I have it, and I agree it is a MUST HAVE! Little to no heat comes through and creates a nice cabin environment. Especially for a 2+2 it is enjoyed by everyone :)

    Listen to the owners.

It is worth the money. I got to drive one of the first cars out of the factory with the option. It's nicely tinted and gives especially the rear compartment a roomier feeling. Furthermore, it will definitively add to the desirability of your car if/when you decide to sell.

It is about time that sunroofs are becoming available on some of the sports cars, the new Jaguar F type, Mercedes AMG GT are all coming out with glass roofs, the next gen Panamera will have a panorama roof. With a glass roof, it makes the interior feel a lot more roomy.
