GRRC 73rd Members Meeting

Looking at the booklet/brochure I received for next years Goodwood MM, I noticed an extra fee for the grandstand entrance. Is this only for the start/finish straight grandstand opposite of the pits, or are there other areas which are only accessible with the grandstand pass? I can't quite seem to find a good argument to pay a further £70 on top of the ticket price if the start/finish grandstand is all it includes.

Anyone else from FChat who'll be attending?

 

I plan to be there in place of Revival in 2015. I don't know the story on grandstand tickets. I never buy them for Revival as I don't think they're worth the money.

 

Indeed. Doubt I will bother, but thought I'd ask in case there was something special or must-see feature.

I find it much more enjoyable to wander around the different areas of the circuit picking up the atmosphere, as opposed to keeping a seat warm in a static grandstand. For the extra premium you're handing over in this case, you really ought to spend a fair bit of time there too.

 

I think wandering will be easier at the Members' Meeting than at Revival owing to the presumably smaller crowds.
