I'm reminded of a dinner conversation on the set of The Exterminator. An Actress responded to a script girl who was telling us that all girls really wanted was a nice guy and size didn't really matter. (F$@& ring times)

The Actress stopped eating for a moment looked her in the eye and said: A lot of people who have never been ****ed by an 8 inch cock say bull**** like that.

Drive a 6:30 car around The Ring for 8 laps and report back.

No, I meant a power upgrade for the current P1 is totally possible and I know that it can be done, but it might never happen as well. :)

This is something Ferrari understands better than either Porsche and McLaren it seems.

Not that I am in any position to purchase these STREET vehicles, but if I were, I would be more inclined to agree with a man who owns some of the best STREET cars in the world over an actress who can take an eight inch d*ck to the face.

    Just my opinion, though.

918 was quick but it didn't have the feel or the presence. P1 feels like a modern version of the F40. You think, it goes, scary as hell and takes part skill, part luck and a lot of balls. Its quite challenging and very exciting to say the least. Whether its faster around the ring or not makes no difference to me.

Agreed. Hopefully he meant "happy" and is just being misunderstood.

Sounds like your actress friend and I are on the same page. The 8" d*ck is a thrill regardless if she's ****ed for 6:30 or 6:57.

So I'm criticised, called a troll and a lier simply for preferring the p1 over the 918 in a Ferrari forum.

Here's my p1s ass for your viewing pleasure

Don't let these people get to you, I bet if everyone in this thread were in a room they'd be the ones apologizing and laughing it off.

The street cars that interest me are one that can last lap after lap under 7m for 24 not those like the Enzo which couldn't even run one full lap at speed at the Ring without overheating it's suspension.

How many laps do you think these three can run under 7m at the Ring?

    Which would last the longest?

    I'd bet on the 918.

Opinions are fine and I respect yours but what interests me is street legal cars that can drive to the track, race for 24 and drive home again.

I realize some could care less but for me and a few customers (So far about 6, at least one of which will be racing along side us in 2015) this is what like.

    Cheers

But how realistic is that really? Streetcars and competitioncars serve a completely different purpose. How could a car capable of running less than 7.24 at the Ring, lap after lap, also function as a reasonable streetcar, and vice versa. If it could, it is lacking as a competition car, because it obviously can be set up much sharper and harder. In other words, a car that has acceptable capabilities on the street, would therefor, per definition, not be my weapon of choice come raceday.

You can't judge a streetcar on track-capabilities and you can't judge a racecar on street-capabilities. And why would you? I don't really see why you'd want to interconnect these completely different worlds (track and street) into one machine. And something tells me, money isn't the problem here!

So far all comparisons have shown the 918 to be faster on the road AND on the track . Just thought I'd remind you all of this little tidbit

    Doom,
I just saw the paper of a dyno measurement of the 918, held in the US...
The result was 819 Whp!!! As a valuable depositor, can you give your opinion on this, or something was wrong with the equipment...? This equals to more than 1000hp at the crank for god's sake :)

Here we go again. Your friends say it 'seems' P1 (and LaF) accelerate much harder over 60. Would love to see real measurements. They need to cut the BS and get the cars together for your experiments. Not denying that they may in fact 'feel' to go harder. And where do you and your friends routinely get to hash it out with runs from over 60 to 200mph? 918 apparently goes pretty hard in that range. In 4th there is 800lb ft available with the HP. 900+ in high gears. Power curve is pretty amazing. Punched in the back at any speed, any rpm. No one really accelerates from 0? Err...We all do that everyday when we drive don't we? bTW, 918 best 0-60 2.2sec, but has done 5-60mph in 2.4sec negating full benefit of launch control (this number is relevant to me because, when I rob banks, in need to be able to just jump in and go...open top makes it even easier. Out accelerates, outbrakes, along with more stability and grip vs alternative. And that exhaust noise behind my head as I make my getaway...918 is my bank heist car.

0-186mph in mid 18's (AMS full test), but official time settled on is 19.1sec in high crosswinds (Porsche's as usual slow claimed 19.9sec)

P1 (Autocar full test) 20.2sec (Mac claimed 16.5sec). Tog Gear full test also showed P1 did not come close.

When you say "magazine tests show this also", you must be using Motor Trend's initial figures. The very figures that they themselves have been desperate to duplicate/verify with a full test at their facilities. IF it ever happens, the delta's will not surprise me.

I know you are really into these metrics, but unfortunately for you, no one has tested them in a mash from 60mph to neverland. And 'handling is irrelevant' for these cars? What? Isn't handling a component the 'thrill' package? And what does a track prepped car have to do with them? Can a track prepped car fill the same needs as the other cars? HUH?

"918 feels like GTR or Veyron" . those cars must also be "amazingly adjustable, stable, balanced, steering integrity to match, and a whole lot of fun, a sweetheart" to drive, along with being stupid fast.

And when you say F#%$ Ring times, I assume you also mean that for every track they've ran as well? 918 has P1 covered in all of them (well, that's of course if we don't account for the so called 'insider only' time of 6:37 Ring time for P1...and there's apparently a video of that lap too (only for a special select few insiders), wooHoo!!!)

The Enzo had a problem at the Ring. The Ring is not the definition of a racetrack.

We mentioned this waaaaaaaay back in the thread, that the 'final' customer spec cars would be in fact pushing 920-950hp, but Porsche would not change that 887hp figure in the propaganda war. Whatever the 'real' number is, we know there's more than 887hp.

there are many-a-deaf and blind here. AND, 918 is also a massively fun, entertaining, drive. But then you get "no no, it's not a driver's car like the other two...it's too easy to drive...blah blah blah..."
