leasing a 458

You could do it but the person that owns the car would be a total moron if he did.....What insurance company will bind you on a car another private party owns?....What if you kill someone in an accident?.....He owns the car....what if you let the insurance lapse and wreck the car?....you walk away and he's left with a disaster....There's just so many things wrong with this idea....

and not sure where you are getting your figures but a 2012 is worth more than $150K unless it has a ton of miles on it, which is probably not the case because he's not using it.....

 

You're better off dealing with a company. And the lowest prices I've seen on a legitimate 458 2010's is approx . $175k with a lot of miles (20k miles)

 

I agree. Just sold my 12 with 9,240 miles for $240 K

 

If you want a F458 just go get one. This whole angle of leasing from a private party makes zero logic IMO. Go lease a new or used model from a car business..

 

If it's profitable for the owner of the car, why don't you just buy one and re-sell it when you're done with it? According to your math it will be cheaper for you.

 

Or finance one. rates are way better than leasing

The guys at FOBH did all the work. The car was beautiful (OK, I'm biased) and the timing was key. Early summer. My Speciale is on a truck to the dealer and should arrive next week. I didn't want to try and sell the 12 coupe in Oct/Nov which I thought would be more challenging.
