Oh, FFS! When are you going to drop that BS? You sometimes make some reasonable points, but many people have now tried to explain you're simply wrong about Monaco & Spa. Sorry, but you're making yourself look like a fool by keep bringing it up. Viz - got any spare pills?
It's looking that way, fer sure. He's now been totally usurped by KI too. A year out may not be totally out of the question..... How silly would that be!?
Around here they're so tight with the stuff you don't even joke about that. Not that it did any good.
In your opinion that is, not in mine, besides if that destruction you claim he brings, was pointed in the right direction as in the rest of the field of team/cars, I would agree with you.
Or ever. But by all means I encourage you to try find one. +1. And people say lauda is a dithering idiot...mattiaci is something else entirely. "Disruption" is surprisingly neutral language. I was not necessarily trying to imply nico did these things intentionally. It is arguable and everyone has their own opinions. Point is that it was his actions, intentional or not, that caused a sht storm and exposed MeRc PR for the joke It is. Nor did his comments about "trying to make a point" or lewis leaking them help the situation either. That's all I'm saying...not too unreasonable I would think.
Apparently I need to look up a lot of things... I will get onto that ASAP so as not to miss some of these 'FINE' points
Do you not frequent the F1 section very often? - You've got more chance of the Palestinians and Israelis getting along together than the F1 crowd in here!
Let us get back to Vettel for a second, and let us pretend that the guys at Ferrari are not completely fool then it does make sense to replace Alonso by Vettel. People over here doubt that Vettel will do any better than Alonso and that Alonso is the faster driver at the moment. Even if it is like that that would make sense nevertheless... My point: Ferrari will not change their situation within one season. As there is no major change in the regulations for next year they will not close the gap over the winter. More likely they have a plan for the next 3 (or even 5 seasons) to get back to the lead after changing the key players now and reorganizing the team. Alonso have spent to many years to wait for the success at Ferrari, I doubt that I would be either willing nor young enough to wait another 3 years for things that might come (or not as nothing is certain). Vettel on the other side has 4 WDC in the pocket, is experienced yet young enough to make all the way through this progress and he is looking for a new challenge. Unlike Schumacher he will maybe not the guy who is leading Ferrari to the new age but maybe he can be get part of it. So I hope everyone at Ferrari and the Italian Press will not judge Vettel just by the results for next season or whether he gets more or less points in the first season than Alonso but in the development over the years to come.
He's not even signed and the excuses start. Ferrari and Stalin. Both famous for their five year plans.
Which excuses? And do you think that they are to blind to see that the way to the top will take time???
Let's all get along we should be happy because clown hack lawyer is gone and now one worst rain drivers in f1 is now gone to great day
does anyone think that Alonso was pushed rather than jumped... that Ferrari made the decision, signed Vettel months ago and then told Alonso he was free to leave ? it seems highly unlikely to me that Ferrari only approached Vettel in earnest and convinced him in the last few weeks after they knew Alonso was leaving. it also seems unlikely that Vettel would make a decision of that magnitude in a few weeks if not days. why is it already a certainty that Vettel is joining Ferrari (Horner) and yet we're not certain where Alonso is going ? why is Alonso going to such great lengths to say that he's the catalyst to everything ? why would he go to McLaren anyway ??? I think he was pushed.
