    I noticed the NART stripe extended to beyond the centre tail lamp till the mesh grille.
    Never seen a Speciale like this, is this a special request from the factory?

    Thanks for all the nice comments. I will post proper pics this weekend. Yes, I had the stripe extended onto the back as an EC. Got the idea from my buddy Joe who did the same with his 09 Scud. I like the added color that it gives to the rear end.

    Cooling and downforce are the main functions of those all those vents. The fender vents are directly over the front axis and wheels for max downforce pressure at those spots. The mesh vents do a lot of cooling and adds some downforce as well on the hood as the air exits where those vents are on the hood/stripe.

    rcktrod gorgeous! The wait is finally over. Was at the Beverly Hills dealership Aug 28 when I was there on business. No Speciale in the showroom but a gto, Italia's and and amid of a few others . will be back Nov 6- 10.

    These aren't the best pics. It's really hot (almost 100) and very sunny. Short video for some sound...if I can get it to load. Ok, here's my feeling after just driving her for about 70 miles through the canyons here in Socal. WOW!!!!

    I put almost 9,300 miles on my 12 458 Italia doing the same type driving and feel that I can make fair and accurate comparisons between the Italia and the Speciale.

    1. Feelings like Nimble, purposeful, smooth, faster...are what kept coming to mind

    2. Sound is definitely louder in both Sports and Race modes with a deeper tone....no pops ofr gurgles that I could notice.

    3. Race seats are far more comfortable and supportive than my fully electric ones in the Italia.

    4. A clear and significant step up in all areas over the Italia...if that seems possible. Same turns, faster with zero effort...zero!
