60th Anniversary of Ferrari in America Event -Oct 12 in Beverly Hills - Who's Going?

If they planned for 1000 cars they had their sights pretty high.

And Luca has been shown the door with a golden parachute. What will they do with that?

 

My email specifically stated a reserved parking on Camden with a parking sticker. You think they have reserved parking for 1000 F cars? Well...ok.

 

There are lots of parking structures in BH.
Its just a question of whether FNA has blocked off enough of them to park the number of cars they have registered.

No email here either. Assumed was because not FCA member. My son will be bummed if we're left out.

Less than a week to go. Let's see how it all turns out.

 

I emailed them almost the day it went online. I still have only seen the FCA message that someone will eventually send out the contact and staging info. It's getting to close now.

No news from FCA after registration. I am going to leave the car behind and fly in.

 

I emailed them over the weekend but no reply yet.....

 

I will be canceling my Saturday room in BH and skipping this if I do not hear
anything by tomorrow. Will try one more email today.....kinda bummed, wife will be also...

 

There is to be an e-mail from the FCA by 4:00 pm PST today.

The club is really trying to do the best it can with an event where we are not the lead organizers.

 

This event is on , not sure why folks are canceling their plans not to drive or attend.

From the information that I have the "special" 60 parade cars have to meet outside the area early to get credentials and immediately proceed to a parking staging area off Rodeo. This is well before the 10am start.

These cars will be counted as they drive to be staged.

I dont have the exact details, but have been told that the other paticipant cars will meet at designated areas and driven along a specified route "paraded" to be counted and parked for the day.

Patience is the key word here.

 

OK, I'll wait. My son would prefer to go to this than a birthday party

 

I'm still in just need to know what to do just like a lot of us. Very excited if this thing actually happens.

 

This is a birthday party. Not only is it Ferrari's 60th birthday but also my 60th on Fri. the 10th.

I received the e-mail at 3:50PM for the registered folks. It has the meet point and arrival times. Meet is between 7 - 9AM at The Grove shopping center. It didn't say which parking lot at The Grove, though. Anyone know?

 

I just received an email from FCA. My meeting place is the Grove shopping center

 

Yep - just got the instructions too. Gotta believe they will have signs and such as to where to go in the vicinity of the Grove.

 

Anyone have an extra seat? I am flying across country for this and missing 1 1/2 days of work (a first for me) so someone, please, have mercy on a 22 year FCA member that lives too far away to bring his car
