It could be air ambulance though...I read the same thing and I think that's what's caused some confusion

They just said over here in TV that the helicopter took off but Bianchi was in a ambulance because this would be safer and would take the same time to the hospital...

He´s been taken to hospital by road ambulance, that´s confirmed.

Pictures of the accident look very very terrible. Seems like he smashed into that digger at high speed.

Outside of a few passes and Button's early smarts, a misery of a race from SC start to Bianchi's accident. Crossed fingers for handsome Jules.

One of those times for people to reflect on things and admire those who put their lives on the line for our enjoyment

Sutil was standing next to it but did not want to talk about it in the interview...

That's right. One could see the helikopter starting. But now, sky is reporting he wasn't in it but in ambulance.

Yes. That's right. Sky corrected the information. Helikopter started but Jules was in ambulance.

Nico said in the interview, that he don't want to go in details but they were informed that it is very serious.

Here are pictures of the crash scene. He hit the crane at high speeds sideways and got wedged underneath.

    No.

As is standard procedure, it was out there retrieving Sutils car.

Unfortunately, it seems that even though the yellows were out he fell off and hit the damn thing. :(

Marshals, track officials, and the FIA all doing/did their best.

Seems like there was a lot of contact ar the airbox, meaning his helmet hit the crane as the car wedged under it.

Really hoping for the best possible outcome...

+1...they were engaged in removing Sutil's car from the circuit when Bianchi lost control and hit the crane.

I can not think of a single reason to use bad manners on this forum. I shared a video that was sent to me that contained a sequence of photos that may help to explain what had happened.
You are just another nameless figure that get their jollies from having a go at other people.

    Go Away !!!
