Any idea on installation costs for the version with the camera? Does the unit have built in GPS or does it need a windscreen attached antenna?
    Thanks
    Alan

    Alan,
Installation time will vary. For the Infotainment unit it should be about 2-3 hours. This includes installing an antenna, which is placed inside the car. We are currently charging $300 for install of the Infotainment unit. As for the rear camera, we are receiving our first shipment in this week and will have a more accurate install time for the camera in the next few days.
    Thank you,
    Sara

Thanks -- please advise install hours for the unit with the rear view camera. Does it hook up to the OEM radio connector?

That's great. Now I have to find out if the installer of my Pioneer used an adaptor or removed the OEM harness connector.
For Ferrari those are good prices -- I am surprised.

In looking at the photo, does it actually block the A/C outlet(s)?

Do you know if it will still be compatible with the external factory 6-disc CD changer? I realize no one listens to CDs anymore, but it would be nice if the changer still worked with the new unit.

How does it look with screen folded away??? Does the screen always stay open when on?......or can you play music without having screen in front of A/C vents ??

    Thanks.

No, you can close the screen at any time and music will continue.

Good question, as it has Aux inputs there may be some way to make that work but the reality is you can rip every CD you, your family, your family's friends, and half your state owns onto a xxGB thumb drive and plug it into the USB cable that you had routed into your glove box, along with your iPod cable should you want one for some reason. Add in Pandora streaming from your phone... too many choices actually.

For the antenna question, there will be two if you go with Sirius XM, one for GPS, one for Sirius.

As for advertising HD Radio compatibility, unless Ferrari had Clarion make them HD Modules (doubt it!), they don't exist and you can forget about HD Radio. It's a non-point to me, PLENTY of other options! I think this is a great price for anything Ferrari branded.. only a few hundred more than the generic brand...

Woo Hoo. Lets go! I emailed you Sara. Great deal! My dealer quoted 1700, but that was installed I believe. I will do a few speaker mods at the same time so I can plug it in myself if it is indeed plug and play.

Do you need a manual to figure out how to change the stations or program the buttons? I've owned my 360 for a year now and I still can't figure out the radio!

Will have to check if and when it might reach the Canadian market..... Hopefully, the "Canadian Premium $$" won't be too excessive!

So it's a Clarion unit with a little Ferrari horse for 100% mark up?

Duh, that's the Ferrari business model and Ferrari customers gobble that up. I know I will. I paid just as much to Ferrari for little upgraded Ferrari horsies to go on my car. We're like ladies in a LouisV handbag shop, just buying anything with the logo on it! Ain't capitalism (er, consumerism) great?!

I'd like to see a pic of the Ferrari one with the closed screen.... Or is it the same as the one in the 360 pic.?.. Clarion, I think... Screens look different on Ferrari brand though

Same exact unit... Ferrari's has Ferrari logo and "Ferrari" comes up on screen when it initializes.

Did you use an adaptor to hook it up to the factory harness? I think I could apply a Ferrari decal for $500. :)
